I think based on her recent actions and content, the public should be thankful that Eve left law for a career in updating PDF readers.
Did she ever explain why she left her associate role? I haven’t watched her vids in a while so apologies if she’s already addressed it

I really feel like monetising this content is the most disrespectful part. She claims she "has" to make a living from youtube, but she barely posts (besides from fulfilling her ad contract) and now she's focusing on a legal system that she doesn't have any expertise in at all. Segueing into an advert during a serious video is in such poor taste, especially when this case is so recent. Like, someone died. It's not just lighthearted content for that person's family who are still going through this legal process. Imagine if you lost a family member and then came across a video from someone about the legal case where they suddenly go into an advert to profit off of their death?

Just started watching her new video on Alec Baldwin's case and gosh the editing is so off!!!! I felt soooo uncomfortable. Thank God I am not the only one here and in the comment section of the video. I think the topic is too recent and too serious to approach it the way she approached it. The video looks distasteful and disrespectful.

I am a third year law student in the States. I thought the "legal" section of her video was extremely surface level, and most if not all of the information was stuff you can literally google and learn yourself. She didn't really provide any legal analysis. The cases really arent complicated either, and she doesn't have experience in the US legal system or in her career with criminal law or wrongful death suits. I also find it funny that she made a whole fuss about her leaving her career as a traditional attorney and then still makes videos like this that arent in her field or expertise. If she wanted to use her legal knowledge do it in the tech field where she actually knows things above the surface level google.

Like what? Can you fill me? I don't have time to watch her vids rn 🤧
someone in the comments linked it to "doing tiktok dance while captions pop up describing Ugandan genocide", which gives a pretty accurate portrayal of what she's doing. quirky smiles, upbeat music, random advert thrown in, and a topic which doesn't work with that.

for me, the title reminded me of those tumblr and aesthetic notes that girls take in school in which they write something like 💕🌟💫The Holocaust💫⭐💕

What the actual hell is this? It looks like a bad 2011 trailer for a 5.5 rated IMDB summer comedy-romance film.

So disrespectful damn. The swirly font, the duck Eve? I saw she commented that shes desensitized from murder cases but come on, who is that tone deaf? The woman has her head up her a ngl.

Who puts 'shooting' in a font like that? Shocking.

This is so bad, she became a caricature of herself, can’t believe this is real. I wrote before that the thumbnail looks clickbaity to me but I’m sure she was respectful with the topic…but I take that back, this is tragic 🥴

Sorry but how can she be desensitised to murder? She will have done one criminal module years ago during the first year of her LLB, and will have never been involved in a live murder trial. She is not a criminal barrister! Having been to the same uni as her I can confirm there is no way the criminal module has made any of us desensitised to murder

oh yeah, I hate this " desensitized from murder cases " excuse (some comments also mentioned it), like damn girl, there are students of history who might have also seen/read about a lot of tit, but sure as hell it wouldn't be okay for them to make a quirky little video about ✨ Khmer Rouge ✨. I have no idea how she thought it would be great to take up this recent case in this way... Like I get it, it can be interesting to see the process of her research or the current discussions about some topic, but to choose specifically something this recent and tragic to go with this style of editing is just dumb. All it misses is her dropping some Jack Edwards' style puns.

Thing is, you can be desensitised (if we are going to be kind enough to run with that anyway) and still treat something respectfully. It’s just basic respect?

Urgh at her posting this on LinkedIn. Why is she still clinging onto corporate law - YOU LEFT. Go find a new path.

I just find it so odd, its the same as if someone left investment banking to become a hairdresser but then continued to collaborate with banks and speak at their events about working in banking. It’s weird, Eve let it go and go make your boring a contract automation system

Wow she’s so ✨quirky✨ sitting on a table at a gLoBaL lAw FiRm wearing her converse 😱 🙄

Cant’ believe she’s still on about the dress code and basic culture. If you can’t make your point without sitting on a table wearing trainers then maybe you have no point to make in the first place Eve...

Also re. thumbnail, unfprtunately most f the true trime creators do that tit - dramatic posing in the thumbnail, doing make up when talking about actual murders of real people or these „crime coffee talks”. Absolutely cringe and super disrespectful.

Imagine rising up through the ranks, putting in the hours at a corporation, then being lectured to about Pride by some lass in Converse who graduated about thirty seconds ago.
