The amount of nudity of the show makes me uncomfortable, given they're meant to be playing teenagers. I don't remember Skins being as explicit. I kind of wonder if Sydney Sweeney will regret it in the future - I have a feeling she might get typecast or be expected to do nudity in other projects.

you're right skins was nowhere near as explicit!

but for some reason i still find skins more disturbing. maybe because i watched it so young and related a bit more to them

I have. Confessing I found it after watching The Kissing Booth and thought Jacob Elordi was nice on the eye (although once again a horrible person).

It’s good - it’s definitely got a huge cult following already out in the states.

Certainly eye opening - definitely darker and more shocking than Skins I think?

Zendaya has said this week that they won’t come back until they can give S2 their very best and they’re thinking of doing a bridge episode to keep everyone happy but it won’t affect s2

Eric Dane said in a recent interview that filming will most likely start in November, so S3 probably won’t air until late 2023/early 2024. I really hope they film more special episodes similar to Rue and Jules’ to at least fill the time.

Faye is the junkie living with Fez & Ashtray. Her boyfriend is Custer (the guy who she met out in the alley last episode/who turned up at the house in this episode) he told her that he was working as an informant for the police. Custer was working for Mouse - the dealer that Fez worked under - who Ashtray killed a few episodes back. Custer asked Fez to hide Faye after the manager at the motel was thrown off the balcony.

this would definitely have more credibility, but then again this is a show about the kids and Laurie is a peripheral character. though Laurie being the target of the SWAT team would make Rue’s life easier.

It would make Rue’s life easier, but for some reason I think it might still bite her in the bum next series. These twitter spoilers might be a little on the nose because Rue would not be as attractive to traffickers as her sister.
Also that article is very ‘Sam doesn’t make us do anything we find uncomfortable/find inappropriate/naked/etc’. Barbie, is not singing the same tune and her character has been massacred. It would have been kinder for her to have moved before the next series.

Well I was expecting to hate s3ep1 after everything I’d read about it but was pleasantly surprised. Yes there are a few gross bits and it’s a bit porny, but no worse than earlier eps imho. It was giving Kill Bill vibes but that isn’t a bad thing in my book.

A horrible thought occurred to me that this will all end up being Lexy’s plot outline for a film or something and not real life but surely they wouldn’t do that.

Other than that, I’ve enjoyed it but I’ve really missed Labrinth’s soundtrack this season.

There's a theory that Lexi will write a script about the whole Rue/Alamo saga and make it big from it.

I agree to be honest they should of made it a university setting as hard drug usage typically starts at uni high school is usually just weed and alcohol

A lot of people have been raising the nudity question on social media. Apparently, even Sydney (Cassie) ask for some nudity shots to be changed cause she didn't see the point of flashing her boobs in all her scenes.

As for drugs, I've been watching dopesick (read the book when it came out), and I guess it depends where in the US. But a nice suburb like the one where Euphoria is set, hard drugs wouldn't come easy to anyone.
