I’m watching. To me, it has lost its magic. The cinematography, the score - everything I loved about Season 1&2. It was always going to be hard to make it work outside of high school I think. It’s not awful… but the last episode had a lot of weird tit with Sydney Sweeney though, and it lost me

That’s how it is for me.I'm still watching, parts of it I like and other parts I think are pointless. The Jules/Rue situation is boring me. But I like the Maddy side of things. I might as well see it through.
It’s probably an unpopular opinion too, but it think Sydney Sweeney is killing it in this season. She’s been giving it her all. Would like to see more of Jacob Elordi, but I imagine he wasn’t available for a lot of it. I do love Maddy though, so I’m glad she’s got a fair few scenes. On the whole, I’m enjoying it but still sad about Angus and I’m surprised they didn’t give his character a proper send off k instead of pretending he’s still alive and phoning Rue from prison
I said it too, then I tried a bit of two episodes and it’s a massive no from me.

I’ve been watching it this past week and im enjoying it tbh. Doesn’t compete with series 1 & 2 but I don’t think it was ever going to. I’ve enjoyed it so far
I think they were always going to be struggling with this series, they couldn't do high school anymore and the main stars are absolutely huge now. I definitely agree the Jacob Elordi storyline is directly linked to the fact he has been shooting a load of huge films at the same time.
Sidney Sweeney already gets a load of detractors purely for using her body to get ahead so that was only ever going to ramp up, and I think social media now is geared up to profit from outrage.
Half the stuff that has happened and been slated as too perverted is a riff on media from last century.
The main issue is the show's pivoted into a crime and gangster show and the audience isn't here for that. I think it's just fine, but they could do worse than copying Skins' homework again and rebooting season 4 back in high school with a fresh roster.

I saw an interview where Sam Levinson said he tried to keep Angus clean and as he couldn’t keep him alive in real life, he wanted to keep him alive in the show and as a way to honour him.
I was really apprehensive about Season 3 but I’m actually really enjoying it.
A horrible thought occurred to me that this will all end up being Lexy’s plot outline for a film or something and not real life but surely they wouldn’t do that.
Other than that, I’ve enjoyed it but I’ve really missed Labrinth’s soundtrack this season.

There's a theory that Lexi will write a script about the whole Rue/Alamo saga and make it big from it.
It’s just not the same without Labrinth. The way recurring “theme songs” played for the characters throughout etc. The only time I was like “yessss” so far was when they used Cold as ice at the end of an episode. Miss all the old 90s and 00s music from the previous seasons.
This whole series has given me Kill Bill vibes since I saw your post! He was definitely inspired by it
