It’s more sad to see young impressionable girls fall for her girl community crap, plus she cares too much about what people think of her always telling them to unfollow or stop talking I have never seen any other influencer do it that much, they know it comes with the job and keep it moving and she says she has a great heart but she’s out here wishing bad things on people who say something about her lol doesn’t sound like a clean heart to me
I think practising what you preach is non existent in her world. She says things that appeals to impressionable young girls and things she knows people WANT to see but necessarily showing WHO she actually is. It’s just sad to see so many people feed into it and fall for her lies. & sad that she’s not such a sweet person in real life.

“Sisterhood” “doing it for the girls without mums” but what has she actually done? If you’ve ever dmed her for actual advice or expressed something you’re going through (I’ve experienced it multiple times from her) all she replied back is “I’m so sorry you’re going through that sis but I can’t help, wishing you the best”, she gives a generic response to everyoneeeee (a few of my friends have actually messaged her for advice) & it seems to automated... it’s all just a front to give her a niche on insta.

So true- she uses ‘sisterhood’ to exploit young girls and convince them to buy her hair oil. She gives no tit about her followers and only cares about the money, that’s why she’s always showing off her car, her business profits (it’s SIX FIGURES guys), her designer purchases, even her bloody balcony. I can’t believe people fall for her sweet sisterhood act when it’s clear shes fame and money hungry
In no way am I saying that growing up without a mum is easy but she definitely uses that story to make people sympathise for her and buy her hair oil. I remember she once said she didn’t know how to shop for clothes because she grew up without a mum? Is anyone even taught how to shop for clothes?

what entails being full Sikh ???? I thought Sikh/Sikhism was a religion, surely if someone makes the decision to be Sikh means they are “full Sikh”. I’m going by the logic of someone converting to Islam/Christianity once they’ve made the commitment they are then a muslim/Christian.

Im half Indian and half white and I class myself as a Sikh. But would you class me as a half Sikh ?? Just curious because I’ve never heard of half Sikh.
sorry could have worded that a little better, I meant like for erim for example she never used to claim her Sikh side and Sikhism ever but now during the protests all she does is talk About sikhi when she clearly knows nothing about the religion she’s out there giving interviews on about the religion when she’s clearly on about it just for the sake of her business!

and definitely not,I know half white and half Indians and they claim both religions unlike erim she’s hiding her Muslim side

That makes sense now I was abit confused, I wasn’t offended or anything, thank you for explaining.

I agree with what you are saying, she has used Sikhi and being Indian, for her own benefit recently due to obvious political reasons. When before she loved claiming she was of Iranian/Persian roots. I hate that tit so much just embrace who you are, no doubt when the time is right she will claim her Muslim/Iranian roots. But at the same time, her whole marketing strategy is geared towards her Indian/Sikh following !! Does make you think though, why does she say she loves modest wear so much ?? Is she also loyal to Islamic side behind closed doors ?

To me she is the biggest fraud in the Asian influencing community, she perpetuates only the unhealthy ideology to her poor young followers such as being hairless, the incredibly light makeup to look like she’s white - she actually looks so grey, and the constant need to be perfect. Her content on insta is literally created for the male gaze, revealing tiny little dresses and provocative backless numbers with her looking back. I don’t know how the duck her bottle of oil and insta is symbolic of a sisterhood.

You are sooo right about her light makeup! On YouTube whenever she slaps on foundation it’s like 5 shades lighter then her actual colour and she just goes like “it will blend in guys don’t worry” LIKE NO boo 😂

If people made you, people can break you just remember that Erim! This is something my mom has always told me and it really hits hard now in a world of ig influencers online businesses etc. Erim is definitely Muslim from her moms side so I’m really confused on her amritdhari Massi? I’m sure she’s lying and it’s actually her dads sister

Seriously, does she have no real friends to tell her that her foundation looks so stupid- look at the colour difference between her face and legs

I find the whole light skin thing such a dead concept, I’ve never got it, I am half Indian and still fake tan to look dark. Why is she like this ?!?! I hate that she keeps alive this typical Indian ideology it’s not even a cute look!!

unfortunately this is a mindset of the so many old school families who still keep it alive by passing it on to the next generations even in uk. it's unfortunate because i thought our generation would be the one to stop thinking like this and get rid of this beauty standard, but its clear (example with erim) that people still push this "light skin is superior" agenda. if she is so well respected in the industry as she tries to say that she is by "how soooo many brands want to work with her" why can't she say in the bridal shoots for them to use her real foundation colour? i would never expect her to stand up and say it because she white washes her own image. again to push this weird backwards image that fair skin, hairless, skinny is the superior standard of beauty (and of course it's her "naturally born" image guys :ROFLMAO: ) which is just pathetic in 2021. idk how anyone feels inspired by it. there is no sisterhood. i know someone mentioned that in dms she offers absolutely no advice and conversation. even in her fb group, she says nothing to anyone who posts unless its absolutely basic advice and she only posts to promote her own stuff

also she looks absolutely butchered in her "self care" reel

Yeah I ended up leaving the Facebook group because she only posted generic questions every couple of weeks just to show she was in the group but never actually talks to us or responds back with much depth to anything. It’s all for show.

bobble head back again with another weird outfit
Eeeeek shows she doesn’t have real friends cause someone should’ve told her that outfit is not okay
