Should I pop down tomorrow to EAST Brighton* and check out her rack of circus tents?

*As a genuine 3186 snob I dislike tremendously the way Brighton East, Gardenvale and all sorts of other riff raff suburbs try to claim a Brighton proper postcode 😂
Ugh yuck, no, don’t go near the rack, you don’t know what sort of mites, lice & skidmarks could be on those garments 🤢

I think they pay a fee per item sold to the shop or rent a rack for a set cost, I saw Jess Wilson did one on the sunny coast a while back and it was $400 a week for a spot in that particular shop. They just drop the clothes off and don’t have to work the shop.

But have these influencers not heard of donation bins, Salvos etc? Selling items gifted to them is proper scabby.
So the rent a rack shop concept is actually awesome- you drop off clothes, they steam, tag and sell and keep a small cut of the profit from your sales.
BUT.. I don’t think there would be enough steaming in the world to treat old mate’s drop offs 🤢
Also - selling grifted/gifted clothes via rent a rack is not the point at all and terribly embarrassing for her 🫣

The world moved on from eBay awhile ago, Gina! You’ve gotta get your help/minions updating you on the zeitgeist. It’s all Depop and having racks/stalls at resale spaces now. Hunter Markets, Rack It Club etc.

Rack It Club is super popular with my daughter’s demographic as purchasers. They’re in Brighton, Hawthorn, Malvern and Prahran so get people with pretty expensive wardrobes moving on the clothes they no longer wear, and younger people who can’t afford brand new high end brands get to give the clothes a second life. My 16 year old’s insatiable shopping urges are well served by the clothes someone else paid full retail for.

As a seller, you download some app, price all your items via the app I think, take them to the shop, hang them on a rack and then the shop is manned at regular retail hours, and shoppers come along and shop from racks. It seems like a pretty efficient way to shop because if you find something you really like on a particular person’s rack, the rest of the clothes should all be in the same size and a relatively similar style so you’re likely to find a whole heap of stuff you’re into.

It was started by two girls in their late 20s/early 30s and I really don’t imagine their customer demographic is short, large, 47 year olds so duck knows who will be buying her tit?

Yes I thought it was for younger girls the thrifting and second hand..not nearly 50 year old size 18 mummas? Ebay is free for sellers now,, much cheaper than other sites and I wouldn't sell my good bags at a Rack, I do eBay or Vestaiare. My 17 YO son sells on Depop.

I’m in Perth. How can I acquire some of her old used pen jeans? The ones where it looks like she packing some junk in her trunk?

The amount of times she says "um" makes me murderous. What an uncouth bogan.

She must have every single wardrobe full in that house bc how is she always selling racks and racks of clothes every few months without having the space to store them.
Her children really didnt have a square inch of that house they could call home. How sad.

I have always felt quite smug watching US politics, thinking that could never happen here. Even if it was the opposition in power, it wasn't really that bad. But it is quite scary the following she has, when she can't even put a proper sentence together.
Unfortunately it can happen anywhere

It’s gross hey, I know your place & mine is dedicated to our kids stuff, their stuff takes over the house, room by room 🤣 they are dressed in beautiful things, while we look like street people 🤣 and you know what, isn’t it a bleeping blessing to be so lucky, this bleep didn’t want those kids she had, they are an inconvenience, they got attention she sought for herself, so now they’ve ditched her she’s still living this pathetic existence no one on earth would want.

Her TikTok account doesn’t look like it’s getting much engagement I imagine it’s her tribe liking her posts.

Once again no polished content from this fuckwit mispronounced words no problem just keep going no point redoing for content again.

can’t wait for her to go viral for all the wrong reasons.
