I'm amazed they have had Todd arrested this quickly. Normally these kind of stories get dragged out for months.
Wonder if the police have her on file?
The HR lady at the Hospital told Jacob other people had complained about her, so maybe she has assaulted people before?
Maybe they went to the police but later withdrew their charges.
Now that's a twist that would make me happy!
Its not going to be as releaving as that. Whatever good they promised to do with this story they are going to soap it up now.but thats actually realistic considering how SA cases are in real life.i was more surprised they treated her with care and the approach they did.
I could be persuaded if there was some fierce protective dingle fightback for Charity.
She's one of very few class actresses who could do it right. But shes been bloody abused her whole life. When do they think they can do this and realistically she wont just break.
Later this month apparently, new Sugden
I read that earlier on the Emmerdale thread on Facebook. Lots of guesses as to how she is a Sugden? A few people were suggesting Nate's sister but he is not a Sugden. I presume the parent will either be Andy or John (I think she maybe is too young to be a child of Jack). Of course they may well have some long lost other Sugdens about to launch onto our screens.
What's the betting she is going to be an angry person who will cause quite a bit of uproar.
Lots and lots of complaints to Ofcom about Sunday nights episode and the Charity and Todd storyline with people complaining it was too graphic and should have happened off screen.

Soooo, the "too drunk to consent" not being mentioned here at all? She literally said Charity passed out drunk?! I know it's not a black & white situation, but it's not exactly a good message being put out at the moment.
From the brief call Todd had at the end, Charity has obviously withdrawn the complaint, which is the way the conversation at home with the police was headed, but we didn't see this confirmed on screen (unless I missed it through the cloud of annoyance that had descended by that point!).

I don't think that will be the end of it, surely they won't just finish it like that.
