Maybe it says more about me and my relationship with my Mum but I couldn’t be having her change the bedsheets, c-section or not. My other half would have to do it!
I would happily let anyone change my bedsheets. If I had enough money I’d actually pay someone to do it & I’ve never even had a c-section

Take the help while it’s on offer there will come a time she will long for her Mother and yes I will take any help at all changing sheets cleaning windows and so on

But as I say, they have a very different relationship, mainly in the fact she still lives with her mum!
It's her mum not some ramdom stanger What is gross about your mum helping you change your bedsheets and I don't live with my mum but not something I'd feel strange asking her you must have a different relationship with yours

You clearly do lol when I had my first I was at home and heavily relied on my Mam and sisters and even my brother. lol wasnt for the faint hearted but we all look back and laugh now
My mum watched me give birth then when I was waiting to be discharged she cleaned my house top to bottom and cooked me tea when I got home

I think she looks fine and not like she’s trying to contort herself. She’s also not long after having a baby she not likely she’s at her most confidentThe funny thing is- she is actually a lot quieter and comes across quite shy in real life!

Exactly! Well said give the girl a break! I also think she looks fabulous and has taken to motherhood well. If you've had a wee baby recently and don't know which end of you is up, that's also fine. It's hard at the start but it gets easier. Emma also has her Mummy with her, which is the dream, but most of us don't. So in summary if you have a wee newborn!
