You know when you get so much second hand embarrassment from watching certain scenes in films or series and cringe so much that you just have to pause it?

Yeah, I got that from the music video. I made it to 47 seconds. I'm sorry but the movements, sped up shots are making me physically cringe. I have nothing more i can say lmao.

It sounds exactly like Tatu’s cover of the song… worse but like nothing special about that cover and yes the video is cringe

Well any chance of her trending now is gone. Gotta love Christiano Ronaldo for that.

Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a while but finally decided to post. I used to watch Emma's videos around 7 or 8 years ago but she lost me when her content started to become inconsistent, she couldn't decide whether she wanted to be a beauty guru, vlogger or gamer, it was exhausting keeping up with her. So eventually she fell off my radar up until last year when I remembered her and looked her up to see what she was up to and oh boy, I wasn't prepared for it.

I've honestly never seen anyone change their entire personality and style so drastically and regularly, it's all obviously to impress her boyfriend. I find it so immature because it's the sort of thing I would do as a teenager to impress some guy. Emma is not a teenager, she is nearly 30 years old. Why on earth is she changing herself to please some dishonest man-child?

It also drives me nuts how after every style change she claims it's the real her, I feel it's insulting to people who have been part of an alternative subculture for many years whereas she just latched onto a superficial version of goth suddenly and knows nothing about the music.

Also her rudeness towards her fanbase is shocking, surely wouldn't someone trying to make it in the already tough music industry want to encourage people to support her/buy her music? She's just alienating whatever fans she has left even further.

Exactly how I feel tbh!

Decided to take one for the team and listen to the whole album in all of it's untuned glory so others wouldn't have to. Instant thoughts: unremarkable. I finished listening 2 minutes ago, couldn't point to one good lyric or tell you what any of the songs were about, a complete easy to forget mess. Gonna go bleach my ears.

I tried listening to it. They are kind of merge into one besides from the smiths cover which is completely out of place. It should of been the last song on the album because of how different it is and also because it’s a cover which is just in the middle of her own songs

The impression I got from the singles (which is like 6 out of 10 tracks anyway) is that they all have the same theme.

"Woe is me, imma spill the tell, duck all who wronged me."

Damn I think I just wrote a better lyric than she did.

Also...I've just noticed something. Around midday she did a "Morning!" post on twitter to get attention, her fans eagerly were asking how she was etc. And 9hrs later she hasn't replied to any of them. Like what the duck. Why are these kids falling over themselves to get attention from someone who clearly does not give a duck?

if you'd like to continue to watch her be rude, go check out her YouTube replies lol
I recently saw she shared a post of someone who got her lyrics tattooed on them, some dumb 19 year old and I couldn't even tell you what the lyrics were because they were indeed so unremarkable lol

I saw the "my empire rises" tattoo and face palmed so hard I almost passed out. Like why would anyone do that to themselves?

Yikes, most of her lyrics sound like something an angsty 13 year old write. Even 19 year old me would have cringed at her lyrics. They're not deep or meaningful enough to have permanently on your body.

I am planning on listening to the album mainly because apart from her singles, there were a few songs I thought were pretty decent on her first album and I assumed she'd, again, chosen bad singles for this album and there might be a few good songs hidden there. But I want to listen on youtube, where the algorithm makes no sense, and not on Spotify but she hasn't even posted her album to youtube yet! That just seems a dumb decision for any musician but especially one who built her audience there.

Does she ever sleep also? Since midnight she has updated her Instagram stories section an incredible 43 times...and isn't showing signs of showing down yet either. Naturally it's all fans gushing over the album, though I'm yet to see any kind of professional or amateur review of the album online yet? Hmv don't stock it, Amazon don't have physical versions either. Hmm...

I managed a whole 14 seconds before I just burst out laughing and had to click off the video.

In true Emma Blackery style, lots of positive comments on the video... but she can't help but reply to the rare negative one. I get the original comment isn't exactly constructive, but it's still valid, and every single video on the internet ever has negative comments but you just ignore them...

but oh no, not sassy Emma.

Why is it the moment she gets a negative comment she jumps on it straight away whereas all the comments gushing about how amazing she is...nothing.

That's what I mean when I said its so confusing that her fans are so desperate for approval from her, yet she treats them with such utter contempt.

On that note. She says she has now "sucked the poison out" (of Daveys unwashed pen?) So does this mean that she either...

A)has no more material and must hence forth retire from youtube.

B)Her next album will be about something nice for a change?

I just had a quick look through some of her old videos and my first thought was how pretty she used to look! I'm not saying she isn't anymore but her new look is just not flattering on her and you can tell it's not her authentic self. If you check out any of her vlogs from even just 3 years ago she seems more like her true self, but when she got with her creepy boyfriend she slowly started morphing into a female version of him. I actually used to like some of her earlier music but everything just feels fake now, the look, the music, everything.
