Of all the Smiths songs to do it's beyond me why she chose that one. Arguably it's their most well known too, so it's not as edgy and niche as she probably thinks it is.
So (apologies for the triple post but...meh) I managed to make it about half way through her new video, and honestly it's one of the biggest pieces of utterly pointless tank I think I've ever seen. I dont really count myself as a big Smiths fan either, I like a few tracks and that's about it. But Jesus wept.
Like most artists when they do a cover of one of their favourite songs will either be really reverent and try to cover it as closely as possible, or they will put a new and unique sound to it. Emma literally turns it into an emma blackery track. Complete with nasal wailing, and an actual tantrum in the video. If you told me she wrote this abomination I'd actually believe you with how much it sounds like something she shat out and not Morrissey.
I would give the other tracks a punt but she already showed them off already, and the only one out of the entire lot I could possibly tap my foot to if it came on at burger King would be Crying. The rest just got progressively worse and this my dear friends is the zenith. I honestly don't know where she can go from here.

She really needs to get a cheaper hobby that she is better skilled at. The fact she’s dropping hundreds if not thousands of pounds on these “songs” and they’re turning out this tit, she’s literally just burning money. Hell, actually burning money would be a better use of her bank account than this, at least than would provide some heat and warmth for a short time. Emma if you’re so desperate to just give your money away and get almost nothing in return, just give it to me! I’ll get you a plushie or two and that’s guaranteed to be a much better return on your investment than the deal you’ve got going on now!
the only subpar song of hers I didn't think was absolutely awful was "blossom" (nothing original about the vocals/sound/lyrics/vibe) but I liked it

I see what you mean about the Manson video there, and I'm not surprised the fans don't recognise the song either. I could barely hear anything distinctive from it. Just more "imma spill the tea" bull from Emma. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Emma is basking in the positive comments her fans are giving. Why would she correct them and say it was a cover from a far better artist?
One comment did make me laugh though, a Stan was going on about she was thankful she didn't have to support Morrisey now after alleged racism. Instead she wants to support a known adulterer.

Hmm charts are updated. She seems to be at no.31 in the iTunes chart now, comparatively Jo O'meara (of s club 7 infamy) is no. 14. Heavy metallers Jinjer are at no.19. And The Beach Boys are in at no.22.

Her singing voice really is just terrible, so screechy and whiny, I’ve seen her live and everything and it’s no better there, surprised she doesn’t auto tune the duck out of her voice at this point.
It's the American accent she does when singing that grates for me, especially in that Smiths cover
