Also, can’t imagine obsessing over an ex-friend this bad to the point you write countless subtweets and a whole bleeping song about them. Whenever I’ve had a friendship ending fallout with a friend (the amount of times this has happened to me I can count on one hand, while Emma would need both hands and both sets of toes to boot but still can’t see she’s the problem, okay) I stop thinking about them after a month or two and when they do randomly pop up in my mind after that I just go “oh yeah that person, that was a turbulent time” and then move on with my life like a grown adult! Hell I had that move down back in my teens! Emma is emotionally stunted at age 14 stg.

(Not to belittle the struggles musicians face in the streaming era but God knows Emma only really cares because she knows she won't get the streams she needs to equal a sale - because the music just isn't that good.)

I think Emma tweeting that the friend "showed her true colours" also shows how stunted she is emotionally. It shows such a narrow-minded perspective, to think of this fallout as a situation where someone seemed like a friend but then, surprise! One day they revealed what they "actually" were all along.

It seems more realistic to me that people are complex, not just good guys or secret bad guys, and a friendship fallout usually comes with red flags or warning signs first. Or both people contribute to the fallout- either by doing the crappy things or by allowing and making excuses for the crappy things/not detaching/not setting boundaries/not being honest with yourself... etc. Usually you should be able to see in hindsight that things slowly went wrong, imo. If Emma feels like she was in a situation where her friend suddenly pulled off a mask and revealed they were the bad guy- metaphorically speaking- to me that underlines how little reflection she's capable of doing.

Though my guess for what happened here is that Emma did or said something, the friend disagreed with her or pushed back, and that was them "showing their true colours" (aka revealing themselves to be a person who doesn't agree with Emma on everything).

yes and no. I have bpd and it’s hard. With therapy, most of the time no but that’s with years of therapy. Without therapy, yes and the situation will hurt the same amount as it did when the situation originally happened.
Unfortunately Emma won’t go therapy which is why she is constantly writing these songs and stays angry

Great post. I completely agree. She's obsessive, and it's scary. She also changes her mind every 5 minutes too. It's barely any wonder she can retain friendships - you'd never know what mood Emma was going to be in, or what she'd do/say next, or you'd be too scared to even voice a slightly differing POV to that of her own.

Yeah. And trying to argue that nobody is authentic anyway because they form their identities based on those around them, she just overthinks it more than normal people, and she's accepted it's her choice to be a person who changes drastically. Because she has BPD.

So basically she's fully decided not to treat her mental illness, but to instead decide it's who she is and that everyone else is probably secretly like her too. I guess in a way it's nice to see her accepting herself... but also I think most people do have an authentic self they can embrace, so I wonder if it's healthy to decide to just not discover yourself and constantly cycle through abrupt phases. At the very least, like @YTZeleb23 said, it must make it nerve-wracking for other people to be in her life and never know what they'll get. Which she kind of acknowledges too? It's a very strange video.

She needs to grow up- Cherry’s channel is not really for me- I like HP but not to the extent of just ordering boxes and boxes of stuff to open for it - But Cherry doesn’t seem to care about Emma- Emma cares enough to keep dragging up beef for years ago

Just a failed Kickstarter that is showing at Cannes. Yep, total bust just because it took him 5 years doesn’t mean it failed. If anything it highlights how professional and passionate he is about the project to see it through that long and not give up on it. Something I don’t think she would ever understand.

Luke seems like a really nice guy, engaged to a nice woman and living a good life. While doing an online degree and bettering himself. Emma is the one who comes out worse from that relationship, Luke is doing just fine.

(Do I like Luke’s videos? Not all of them but he does seem like a decent bloke I was a youth worker a lifetime ago now and one of my then teens saw Luke, Evan, dodie, Sammy and Emma at a convention and Luke was the only one who treated her like an equal and not just a strange fan. I loved him after that.)
