Emma Blackery #2 Emma Attackery

a. It's because you delete their comments.

b. you repel a portion of your potential fanbase away by being openly butthurt and hung up on "haters" at the mature age of 33.
Every time I think she can't possibly be more cringe she truly plumbs the depths and manages it.

I don't understand how she can't see that if she changed her attitude and stopped bringing so much drama and pettiness to the table, her fanbase would be bigger and she might've had a chance at a decent music career with a tight-knit community in tow.

Imagine if Dodie had tantrums about haters, or Troye Sivan monitored every response for comments he didn't like.
Would that make you want to stick around? I certainly wouldn't. Why aren't your fans your focus?

She constantly ruins it for herself with her negative energy. The common denominator is her and how she is and if she's made to 33 still acting like a moody teenager then it's certainly not going to change any time soon.

Dan and Phil's video (which was wonderful) just reminded me that Emma is a huge mean bully who doesn't deserve any platform she still has. Playing the victim is her whole profession, when she should finally start to work on herself to become a decent human being in silence.

I thought of her too. It's one thing to have fans picking apart private moments but to have your contemporaries doing it too must've been absolutely awful. Not to mention that Dan and Phil's fans, while misguided, were acting from a place of love and admiration. Emma (and Luke) were being malicious and unkind, nothing more.

Yes in the video they spoke about how it’s difficult to build meaningful friendships as you either have to lie to them or being them in on the secret and ask them to lie about it too. They rather graciously left out the fear and worry I imagine they must have felt thanks to people like Emma and co, about if their friends would betray and out them.

I was going to say 'I swear this is like the third time she's made this video?'

But I double checked and my bad, it's maybe the fourth time actually

Good on her for being honest on some things money wise but it’s clearly because she saw Dan and Phil getting media attention and she wants to jump on that.

What did she say about Dan and Phil? I don't want to give her views.
She didn’t bring them up at all in the video, but in the past she did say a lot of things to stir the pot and she’s kind of known to have been crappy about them back in the day. She answered a comment on tiktok saying she won’t talk about them again.

I've watched half of it and the questions that have been asked have all been asked before in different videos.
So no new info yet.
Did she say anything about the Waterstones drama? Can’t remember the exact details but I think she tweeted that it was Waterstones fault her book flopped because they put it out on their shelves before release date. It was really unprofessionally worded and definitely ended her chances of getting another book published. Lots of people pointed out that generally release embargo’s only apply to very big releases/authors, and other books are free game to be put on shelves once the shop receives the delivery. She deleted the tweet after.

I think there is an answer to that on guru gossip but I think the site is broken or gone. It just won't open.

Waterstones still has copies of the book.

Mad thing is. With Waterstones embargoes don't mean tit. As long as you do click and collect.
