Something that isn’t spoken about enough is how many khaliji men are closeted homosexuals who make their wives life a living hell. I know personally kind beautiful intelligent women trapped in dead bedroom marriages to gay men for the sake of appearances. They are forced to endure awkward encounters for the sake of having a kid so the family will leave them alone. One guy had the audacity to tell his wife at least he’s not “gay” when they are in their country he waits until they go on vacation.

I think Cyrielles situation is completely different because she sometimes attends royal weddings and is friends with some shaikhas, she seems to be very well connected. I think she and Maktoum had/have a somewhat loving relationship and thats why she was able to stay in Dubai and keep her businesses.

Don't know which Sheikhas Cyrielle is friends with but no respectable, educated Sheikha would be friends with a girl like that.

Men aren't nice creatures, no matter if it is rich or poor. We need to stop demonizing rich/wealthy people and thinking that being low-income or poor makes you a good person. I have poor and wealthy friends, I am not financially rich at the moment but just like I have humble rich friends I also have arrogant and conceited poor friends. Socioeconomic status does not define your personality, it changes the way you are being raised and the way others may perceive you and that's it.

I bet many on here would agree with the fact that they have met wealthy people to be super chill and cool and less judgemental than people who are low income.

( I'm speaking of billionaires from all nationalities) u guys keep saying how do they meet. when a girl goes out at night to party it is very easy to meet those guys . I had a friend , she studied with me in University she used to look so normal she's very natural too but her body is model-like petite. If we take into account how many billionaires actually exist and their age range then part of this is not true, depending on your background you may think is a lot of money. I talked to this older man, he had a business and showed me his 8 figure bank account(just to humble brag) needless to say, I ghosted him LOL. He has a super big and nice beach house, he has minimum spending, he has a business, and married/divorced a playboy bunny. Is he rich? YESSS totally yes but not a billionaire unless he takes his dollars somewhere in Asia, Africa, or South America.

Nobody is denying billionaires exist but to say you met them at a party? Sounds good, until you realize most of the billionaires are in their 60s.
Which 60-year-old is partying that hard? Maybe in a gulf club, Also where does she live that she has access to this many billionaires? Are you aware? not even celebrities are billionaires. I would say your classmate is dating millionaires which is alright, many men in tech are new money and used to be nerds and they like spending money to attract and feel good.

Also, she is a student why is she not getting internships at these billionaire's companies? Knowing a celebrity does not mean anything nowadays, being in their inner circle is different.

Unless u are an insider , I do not think any of the above is true . the houses are owned by the men and the apartments abroad are rented when they go on vacation. I think people are just making assumptions here based on what they show you , but the reality is that they live rent free but don't own the actual property only thing they probably get is fashion bags etc the lifestyle . also you never see them wearing a 10 million dollar necklace , they get the basic stuff that isn't quite hard to get. notice the difference between what the wife gets and what the girlfriend gets . I know a friend she's dating a billionaire I've been in the car with them and all she gets is shoes / bags sometimes Vancleef rides his rollsroyce/ Bentley his huge car collection but when it comes to a place she lives wherever he chooses to put her in her case it was either a private mansion or an apartment in the hotel which he owns but he never bought her a place . She just gets to live in it, even if its months or years.

Salam Banat, hope you are doing all well. I’ve been reading this thread since this afternoon and I’m very intrigued so I wanted to share my story with you guys so I can get your opinion.
I’ve been with this Emirati guy for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love him. I didn’t expect to love him too because when we first met I wasn’t looking for anything honestly. We have great conversations and really enjoy each other’s companies. We enjoy each so much other that when we were long distance for awhile our calls would last 8+ hours. We don’t touch each other than just some hand holding because he respects my decision to wait until marriage. I adore him and I really do see myself married to him in the future but the thing is I’m scared our cultural and religious differences will clash especially when our families are involved. We come from different sectors of Islam and obviously I’m not an Emirati. Another thing is moving to completely different country. He’s quite clear that we will live in his country and that’s where he want his kids to be raised which I totally respect but it’s very nerve racking. These are only some of the issues but I was just wondering to any of the girlies here who are married to Emirati men please give me your opinion and of course any others on here

Bit confusing but I will go on the assumption that you do not live in the UAE and this relationship has been carried out over the phone mainly.
Unless he has made some serious moves already to get a ring on your finger, I'd be doubtful tbh.
Apart from that, expect the worst from his family and hope for the best.
Several of my closest friends are married to Emiratis and it truly is a mixed bag depending on how open-hearted the family are.
Some have been okay from the start. Some have shut out the foreign wife completely. Some only warmed up after the third grandchild appeared lol.
My best advice would be to assimilate as much as you can and sacrifice the parts of your culture/identity that clash with his when bringing up your children and presenting yourself to his family. If you really want to marry the guy. In a mixed Emirati marriage, the family will want to see the Emirati side dominate of course.
Otherwise, why has it taken two years?

omg I used to be curious about Rosie, what is her story anyway? She barely spoke in any of her stories and never revealed much about herself but I remember her in the Majid al Mohandis video and then tried to launch an eyelash range.She’s 100% white British but didn’t she hoodwink people into thinking she was Iraqi? @ksr96 I think Bahraini men tend to be more liberal than the rest. He probably didn’t take you to an Arab spot for dinner because Arabs always go out to dinner and can be very judgemental so if they saw you together that might have made you or him feel uncomfortable. Honestly it’s not good to make stereotypes but tbh most people I’ve know have had bad experiences with Saudi and Emirati men. It might be because their societies are so closed off compared to the rest of the Khaleeji countries...only recently did they start becoming more liberal and open. So for some of the older guys especially it’s hard to let go of what has been ingrained in their old society.

I've heard things like what you said, and I can't help but believe it. Juma's family would never accept Camelia, her family, or even her children, they never did. One of Juma's brothers/cousins was banished from his family after marrying a Norwegian (he returned years later). She has a really extravagant lifestyle, it's cheesy!
