Yes I’ve seen this theory also. It does check out if you consider that it was the cops who pulled him out and started cpr rather than the dad. If dad just thought he was missing and called the cops then there’d be a fairly long time for him to be in the water whilst waiting for cops to arrive and possibly dad checking the neighbourhood. Not sure why he wouldn’t think to look in the pools first though - they have 3 if you include the hot tub above the main pool. I think they were new to pool ownership but still it seems like the obvious place to look.Someone on Reddit said they’d heard (of course could be bs) that he actually died in the plunge pool, possibly even thought he was missing before being found.
Poor little lad.
Sorry if I’m just being a bit thick, what’s a plunge pool? I’ve googled images and it’s just returning pictures of what I think are normal pools in the back garden?Someone on Reddit said they’d heard (of course could be bs) that he actually died in the plunge pool, possibly even thought he was missing before being found.

They seemed to have a separate square pool near their sauna that I believe was a cold pool for plunging in, like the Swedish do. It was about the size of what we call hot tubs in the UK, maybe a bit bigger. I’m not sure if it had a cover or not like a hot tub would.Sorry if I’m just being a bit thick, what’s a plunge pool? I don’t think it was the police who pulled him out of the pool? The articles I’ve read say the police responded to a drowning call so whoever called them knew the child was in the pool and presumably pulled him out before they arrived.Yes I’ve seen this theory also.
