Because this is the reality of grief. Happiness does creep back up on you, and you feel absolutely awful for it. A month after my nan died, my mum was grinning her head off watching me graduate. She is allowed to feel happiness.
You are comparing two completely different losses.
Sorry, but grief is not grief.
I’d lose my grandparent and go through that again and again and again rather than my child once. In any circumstance, but especially one that was so easily avoidable.

Fair enough a bit of socialising, but full time when both parents are at home? Madness
I’ve worked in daycare & always baffled when parents who don’t work leave them full time to go sit at home, we’ve even had them left on birthdays. I personally find it disgusting but each to their own.

I also have no doubt that Arizona will eventually unseal the records. The judge deciding if they should be unsealed is the same judge who sealed them last year so it make take time but the lawyer for the bodycam channel has already indicated to the judge in the record that if he denies the request, they will take it higher. The only thing that should and will remain sealed imo is the security footage of Trigg drowning and any life saving measures being performed on Trigg will be blurred or cut out.
In 2024 in Maricopa county, a man named Christopher Scholtes, who had a regular practice of leaving his daughter in the car to nap, knowing the car/air con turns off after half an hour, forgot about his daughter. Every other time in the hot Arizona sun was fine but he was also a useless SAHD. Wife is/was a Dr and he was drinking beer and watching porn. Wife came home and asked where the youngest was and they find her in the car. She dies, he takes a second plea after refusing a first and took his life the day he was meant to report for prison for 20 years. Point is, all the body cam is out there and it’s the public’s right to access in the states. She won’t win this in the long term, especially as a public figure which has an even lower bar for the right of access and it was in the same county. She’s fighting this so hard because the public will see why the cops pushed for a prosecution and then questions will be asked as to why Brady and Emilie to a lesser extent haven’t faced charges. And I’m pretty sure there is no statute of limitations on criminal deaths so it could be re-investigated at some point. My opinion but I’m willing to bet we will see it sometime whether the judge denies the request or not. There are other pathways. Rest in peace Trigg and Parker

I think she posts things like that because she feels she should. It's not genuine to me.

My grief for my baby son still cripples me at times, 30 years after losing him. It comes completely out of the blue, fells me for 24 hours, then I shake myself off and get back up again. I can't describe the feeling well but it's a physical pain that makes breathing difficult, your chest ache. And quite often wakes me in the night with a feeling of sheer panic. How she's behaving like this less than a year after Trigg died is bizarre.

She’s just put up another drowning prevention post and said put life jackets on kids on open water when on boats… she literally didn’t do that on their recent holiday

“We barely set foot in our backyard” - wasn’t there a video of some big dinner table set up next to the pool for thanksgiving or something?

Anybody who hasn't read the police report will just believe her when she says Brady was feeding Teddy at the time. If her fans actually read it they'd see that he was watching tv cos he'd put a bet on and that he didn't once check on Trigg for 9 minutes. He also lied to the police about absolutely everything.

It's the sitting on a boat on the sea with no life jacket that's made me really question their sanity. Wouldn't you be uber protective of your surviving child....
I don’t understand how they’re on any open body of water TBH. My kids have had a few non-horrific accidents over the years, and anything and everything that is associated with it I genuinely cannot bear to be around. My youngest fell in a hotel pool silently, fully clothed, when he was a toddler and I just about saw him out of the corner of my eye, immediately ran and grabbed him within 3-4 seconds and he was fine. If I hadn’t seen him at that split second, I would have thought he was still in the mass of children in the play area next to it and not actively looked for him until potentially too late. I will never go to that place again, dramatic or not. It’s like I don’t have it in me to be reminded of that terror feeling again in any capacity. The fact that they look out at their pool every day from their bedrooms and living area and sit on the patio to eat overlooking the pool without falling to pieces is insane. Do they skim the leaves and swim in it and touch the water? It makes me feel ill.

Like if I’d hit and killed my child or anybody’s child with a car, I would never drive again. They’re so blasé about their level of responsibility. All I’d be thinking while floating on that sea, would be about Trigg gasping for his life.. it’s making me tear up as I’m writing it. Their ‘grief therapist’ must be fucking fantastic because they appear to be way past it!

I think it’s mad how she has decided not to show Teddy’s face in an act of some kind of defiant punishment to her following, as if it was anyone else’s fault but theirs that their son is no longer here. Like girl, you needed to have boundaries around your pool, not with the general public. Tbf I agree in not showing kids online but it should have always been this way for her. Not just a reactionary brain wave after the death of Trigg.

She can put on a front as much as she likes but she'll always be the "influencer" whose child died because the look of their garden/pool on social media (and placing bets online) was more important to them than keeping him safe. She must be seething that she can't redact that too.

Honestly don’t know how her family and friends can stand to be in his presence. A child is dead because of his piss poor parenting and neglect and he has the audacity to be sat on a yacht smiling with a beer 😳

I can only imagine the sort of grief therapy that they've had. Paid for, placating and soothing, and resolving them of any levels of blame. They've been told or they've convinced themselves that this "happened" to them, rather than taking any level of responsibility. It could be the only way that they can cope, I suppose, but the grief therapy I had was very different. It taught me how to accept what had happened full on, process it, and that was the only way that my mind and body would cope with living a life worth living again. It was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through, truthfully. If either of them had allowed themselves to process Trigg's death and their roles in it, they wouldn't be acting the way that they are. In my opinion.

I really hope that people are now waking up to how utterly pathetic she and Brady are as parents. Their son died and yet they are still risking the life of their remaining child around water. They've learned nothing, and I truly hope that there is no way she can recover from this. That statement has been put out because she's had to address the ever growing amount of voices saying WTAF. Nothing more.

Current tik tok, a GRWM and she tells the viewers to get a car camera for your baby for in the car. How about camera view of the pool, wouldn’t that be a fantastic thing to have rather than in the car? Actually she can afford both.
She's the last person I'd take any kind of parenting advice from!
