Lives in a $835,000 house but asking for donations for his childs funeral and to move home because of his own negligence in not having a pool fence.

I've been using a 3ft paddling pool this week during the heatwave. It's barely 12 inches deep, and it's covered in safety warnings telling you to supervise children and use a safety surround.

Yet these people buy homes with large swimming pools and choose not to put up a fence because it would "ruin the aesthetic" of their videos. And now when the unthinkable happens they're asking strangers to help cover costs

I'm sorry but I'm so fucking done with influencer culture.

Edit - the gofundme is already at $5000+. People are so fucking dumb.

The police report says Draft Kings gave them the details of all actions regarding the bet, the third one was withdrawal and the longitude and latitude marked it as at the hospital. Unthinkable. While my dad was dying I wouldn’t even remember to eat or wash my hair.
Oh my goodness wtf! I half hoped this was just speculation, because somehow on top of everything they’ve done this feels even more unthinkable. This was on the report! He’s a monster. Complete monster. How anyone can read the full report and support their relationship - and having more children is madness.

If I had carried our baby for 9months and delivered that baby safely only for my husband to be unable to give his undivided attention and care to that baby for the grand total of 32 minutes ( the first time he was left with that precious baby ) then my husband would be dead to me. This is the only natural response. Your baby should come before anyone, including your partner. And that goes for the man too. I’d want my husband to save our children before me in any situation.

She’s absolutely glowing in the podcast. My child nearly died as a baby through being born prem, she survived but it took me a long time to get over it, I was ashen, it took a long time to get a sparkle back and recover from our ordeal. Less than one year after his death (as this was filmed in Feb) she’s absolutely glowing, glammed up to the nines. If I was going on a podcast to talk about my sons ‘preventable death’ I’d be going no make up, neutral, and making sure tbe focus was on his story and the awareness of pool safety. She looks like she’s off to the baftas. She makes me sick. I do understand needing to live for Teddy, I do, but she seems to find it pretty bloody easy

I read them again too just because I hadn’t since it first came out.

I (almost) get what she means when she says it could’ve happened to either them. The pool safety, yes, that’s both their fault.

But him lying to the police, saying he could see Trig outside when the cctv evidence showed he never saw him once after he went out there. He lied and said he saw him on the grass which trig never was. He lied and said he was focused on feeding the newborn to bond. But the phone evidence shows he was betting and watching the game. THAT is unforgivable. 9 full minutes he was outside. 7 full minutes in the water flailing trying to swim. He did not check on his child once in those 9 minutes but evidence shows he was on his phone.

I could NEVER look at my husband again. He should have been charged.

She’s gone dark now waiting for it all to blow over. She’ll be back posting nonsense again in no time since she barely skipped a beat when Trigg passed. I wish she would just stay offline. If you have to edit your life in such a way as to not show your pool, your husband, your pregnancy or your kid all to avoid getting cancelled then just go away and don’t post. She acts like she’s doing everyone a favour by being back, but also insulting her audience by being like “I’m not sure how much of this pregnancy I will share”. Emilie, you don’t have to share anything or be online at all. The world will still turn without us seeing you clean your house or get your nails done or rap in the car.

After losing our son, our GP put me onto antidepressants and they had a really weird effect on me. I may well have looked the same but felt absolutely nothing - it's the weirdest feeling, you're just numb to everything - everything is coated in apathy. My husband was terrified and made me come off them (which I did cold turkey, not recommended as I led twitching on the sofa for 3 days as my nerves started to re-activate).

I can only assume Emilie is on a pretty heavy dose of something but she would never admit to that. Because the alternative is really unpalatable.

I just keep seeing her pop up and I cannot and won’t ever understand it. I know it’s not my place to judge somebody’s grief journey but as a Mum to an almost 3 year old and a 4 month old my heart literally hurts, like I can feel an actual stabbing pain in my gut and chest if I think of either of them dying. I just cannot imagine being able to post selfies, video me cleaning, sharing pictures of meals out. I genuinely think I’d crawl into bed and you wouldn’t see me for dust (also not healthy I know) but I just cannot and will never understand one, how they are still together, two, how they are still living in that house, three, if they were staying together why didn’t they pack up and buy somewhere else, somewhere private, stay off the internet/influencing, just post privately on private accounts maybe for their friends and family. Surely they’ve got enough money to live a comfortable life. I’d have to leave that house asap, every room, wall, door would remind me that he should be running around, playing with his toys etc. I don’t want to judge but I can’t help judging. Especially if anything happened to my kids on my watch due to negligence. I just dont know if she genuinely is in denial and will live the rest of her life with her head in the sand or whether she’s headed for a massive breakdown at some point when it all comes to a head that he’s actually never coming back, her first born, her baby boy. It breaks my heart and he wasn’t even mine 😢
Same…I feel horrible on some level, but also completely baffled and quite disgusted. I never knew who she was before Trigg died and got curious and started reading the threads but with a ‘she can’t be that awful’ attitude initially. It really has astonished me the carrying on as normal, especially when normal for Emilie is so social and so polished.

One thing I really can’t believe I’m seeing. On her instagram right, she’s still banging out GRWM vids and house resets from that house. When you look at the old videos from when Trigg was alive, you can see the garden and pool from every single one of the massive panoramic windows in that house. When she now makes videos, if the windows are in direct view then the blinds are closed so that we the viewer don’t see the pool. When she’s filming off to the side and the house is full of natural light, the blinds are clearly open and we the viewer don’t get the view of the pool but my point is SHE DOES! She and Brady can see that pool from their bedroom, the living room and the kitchen and have the blinds open all the time. They hosted thanksgiving on the patio facing the pool!! What degree of cognitive dissonance is this? Boss level.

I am quite a logic-based practical person, not overly sentimental by any stretch of the imagination. I would not be able to even be on that street if that had happened there. Never mind seeing the pool all day every day, but also hosting there and talking about plans and new things. It makes me feel physically sick seeing her rabbit on about coffee and tapping her fucking fake nails.

Everybody grieves differently, sure, but there’s different and there’s soulless.

It's the sitting on a boat on the sea with no life jacket that's made me really question their sanity. Wouldn't you be uber protective of your surviving child....

Could be speculation re withdrawing the cash because how could anyone have this info? Horrifying to think of poor Trigg still fighting for life in the hospital, it’s got me teary eyed thinking of that poor soul. Both Brady and Emilie are vile creatures.

I think it's pretty clear by now that she nor Brady have ANY parental instincts. Hence Trigg dying, and them playing roulette with Teddy. I feel quite sick that she's bringing another poor child into a life where neither parent would appear to be able to keep them safe.

My issue is that she is now sort of lumping them in with the people who looked away for a few short minutes at a family BBQ, and their child drowned - when actually this was a much more complex situation, and there were multiple failings from both her and Brady in the lead-up to Triggs death, from failure/broken locks, no pool fence, etc.

The story she's spinning that Brady was making milk for the newborn or whatever is insane when we all know it's a lie, he was on his phone placing bets at very exact times per the police report. He also repeatedly lied to the police.

Both failures as parents tbh

Because this is the reality of grief. Happiness does creep back up on you, and you feel absolutely awful for it. A month after my nan died, my mum was grinning her head off watching me graduate. She is allowed to feel happiness.
I don’t doubt everything you are saying but losing a grandparent/parent as an adult although heartbreaking is not the same as losing a young child in the awful traumatic way that has happened to them. It is not natural order or ever expected. It’s really not comparable. The way she has gone about things is bizarre.

I commented on this thread a few times when the police report came out. Something I’d like to add about their negligence with the pool that may have been forgotten from the police report is that it’s dangerous for pool owners to keep pool toys on the side of the pool. When pool time is done, they are meant to be put away for 2 big reasons: 1 the kids are attracted to them 2 they are a tripping hazard and Trigg did indeed trip over a pool toy and that’s how he ended up in the pool. Amongst all the other things they had installed but didn’t use: kid catcher net, pool cover, door alarms, high up inside locks so kids can’t get to the pool areas on their own and surveillance cameras. All useless with these two running a home with small children, Brady being the most culpable.

It’s just damage control for her, because people have finally started asking questions and realising things don’t add up. Still doesn’t change the fact that Brady is a useless jobless piece of shit responsible for death of his son and Emilie is a self obsessed narcissist who cared more about protecting her furniture than her son’s life. I don’t believe for a second he was ever wearing a life jacket on that boat at all, why would you take it off? What reason is there there you would need to take the life jacket off? It’s obvious from the photo the boat is moving I think he wasn’t wearing one at all.

Would she be getting this support for her and Brady if he'd been charged? Would they heck. I honestly think it's appalling they've effectively killed a child and faced zero consequences for it.
