Brady’s smug, doughy head really pisses me off. If I was him I’d be too ashamed to even want to be shown on her social media.

They’re absolutely disgusting. I don’t care, they deserve all the slagging off, they’re a disgrace. If they hadn’t lost his life through their own actions, I might even say ok you’ve got to try and move on. But they don’t seem to feel - aside from maybe a general grief at losing him overall, they don’t seem to be crushed by guilt? Like the grief would be one thing to work on, but how are they swanning about knowing his little life was just thrown away thanks to their selfishness and ignorance?

Lives in a $835,000 house but asking for donations for his childs funeral and to move home because of his own negligence in not having a pool fence.

I've been using a 3ft paddling pool this week during the heatwave. It's barely 12 inches deep, and it's covered in safety warnings telling you to supervise children and use a safety surround.

Yet these people buy homes with large swimming pools and choose not to put up a fence because it would "ruin the aesthetic" of their videos. And now when the unthinkable happens they're asking strangers to help cover costs

I'm sorry but I'm so fucking done with influencer culture.

Edit - the gofundme is already at $5000+. People are so fucking dumb.
I don't know what's worse, blaming the 2 year old for drowning because she "thought she was a big girl" or asking people for money - after bragging about how rich you are not long ago. Absolutely sick and completely tone deaf.

the whole "it could happen to anyone" is just absolving themselves of blame. like no babe, it couldnt happen to anyone because most people do not give 3 year olds unsupervised access to an UNCOVERED SWIMMING POOL when they cannot swim. they had a pool cover but it clearly wasnt on, and in a lot of her videos around that time the pool was uncovered in the background. They lived there how long and still NO FENCE either. laziness and negligence which is crazy considering neither of them work. and no, I dont count making videos of 'A day in my life buying Starbucks' a job.

You would think not having a pool net and not watching your young child by the pool causing him to die you would be extra extra careful with stuff for the remaining child

He looks like a complete douchebag. I have no idea what she saw in him ever, never mind still being with him now

Probably. But I also think maybe Trigg playing outside alone and them being alone in the house was normal for them - so how can she really be judgmental towards Brady if she did the same hundreds of times? And when she says it could happen on her watch is literal - it could literally also happen to her cause she did exactly the same many times.

personally, I know that every parent sometimes gets lost in the tv too much, or stare to long at the phone, etc. But to be that careless with WATER is bonkers to me. I mean you have to draw a line somewhere and I think all sane parents are extremely cautious about water/pool/lake etc. Everyone knows it is so dangerous for kids.

also, is it american thing to be that careless with pools? Personally I dont know anyone who has a pool at their house. Idk but it feels absolutely wild for me to have a 2 or 3 year old playing alone by the empty pool with no supervision and parents being aware of it. Everyone who has children knows how incapable such small children are - they literally trip over everything.
No, I’m a born and raised American. Everyone I know that has a pool has a fence around it, plus alarms on every door. I have a family member that actually has a gated off patio area, so they can be in the yard but the kids can’t get to the pool. There’s also a fence around the pool. Multiple layers of protection is what will keep a child alive. Does their yard look like EK’s did, no. But all 4 of their kids are alive and well. The fence isn’t forever, it’s an easy decision to have a fence.

The fact that she was filming the whole time she wasn't posting just shows how performative her "break" announcement was.

I’m by no means an Emilie fan, I do absolutely think her and her husband were negligent. However, I really don’t think we should be privy to body cam footage and interviews from a poor little boy’s death. It doesn’t seem to serve an interest to the wider public. Just my opinion and each to their own, I just struggle to see what releasing everything would achieve.
I’m not American so I don’t know the rules, but plenty of high profile crimes have had body cam footage publicised - the Watts murders for example. It is in the public interest when law enforcement is a service taxpayers fund, they should be shown that due process is followed, things are handled correctly, perpetrators face consequences and justice is served for the victims.

I think she’s incredibly emotionally immature. Maybe one day the enormity of what happened will hit her. Her son is dead. It was her husband’s fault. Less than a year ago. Yet she’s dancing about every day as if nothing has happened. FFS!! No one expects her to be catatonic (although that would be more understandable) but surely some indication that she is feeling deep grief and sadness? It’s unrealistic for other people experiencing loss to see her.

Just quoting this as my thoughts are about something similar. I apologise if I sound odd but I can't help but wonder what they think of their pet dogs, especially after one of them was there at the pool when Trigg was struggling. Do they blame the dog for not bringing Trigg to Bradys attention? How can you look at your dog in the same way knowing they've seen what they've seen?
Maybe I'm over thinking it but just wondered what everyone else's thoughts were. I have two dogs and the thought of them seeing what the Kisers dog saw (I'm not sure which one was out there at the time) just makes me feel so sick.
What? No. It’s a dog.

I would say it’s Brady’s responsibility as a parent to make sure his toddler doesn’t drown.

Emilie isn’t even resentful of the fact her husband is the reason her son is dead. I doubt she has the emotional intelligence to resent a dog.

I’m certain the irony is lost on Emilie that she ran to her daddy to protect her but where was Trigg’s daddy to protect him?
I’m also fairly sure the reason she stayed isn’t from love and forgiveness and respect. I doubt they have a prenup, he would be entitled to half so he’s worth more to her as “a couple” making money than having to split it all up and he wants a cushy life without having to work. With all the recording and cameras that go on in that house, they probably have a lot more on each other.
I can't fathom what kind of grandparent would defend their negligent son in law knowing he's is responsible for their grandchild's death?!

Wow. Is this her way of processing her son's death? In some psychotic, messed up way and I'm really sorry to anyone this may offend but is she thinking this is her "do-over"? I have so many questions.

It's far too soon to be bringing a new life to the world when your no brain cells of a husband couldn't even look after his own son properly and due to his negligence was sadly taken away JUST a year ago. It's far too soon. They should have spent longer focusing on raising Teddy and ensuring they're fit for parenthood before popping out another baby so soon. This is all so eerie 😭

Honestly never know a young mum have so much free time on their hands. It is definitely not real life for the majority of us.
What makes me crazy is she’s getting Botox today on her TikTok , after getting her nails done. I don’t get it. My mom died and I was a mess for years, didn’t care about how I looked. Did I get up and take care of my kid, yes. But I’m certain I didn’t get a haircut, I didn’t get my nails done, I didn’t plan an international trip, I didn’t relish in making or getting coffee every day. All I could think of was how much my mom was missing with her first granddaughter. She waited so long for her then my mom died when my daughter was 1 month old. EK just goes on in life like nothing tragic happened. I don’t even know how she gets through the day with the younger son and comparing his milestones to the older boy’s milestones. I would be a mess 24/7.

Thank you, he is absolutely fine now and has no memory of it luckily.

I dont think we can blame Emilie for wanting some normality after what undoubtedly was a traumatic situation, especially given that she has another child to show up for. That being said, I struggle to understand how she can still be with her husband when in my opinion, he allowed T’s death through negligence (and yes I do blame her on some level as well because they should have had the pool cover). Also the Halloween Skeleton on the sofa, etc style incidents that we’ve had are making me wonder if she knows it’s going to incite unsavoury comments/opinions and she’s “poking the bear” so to speak because she feels guilty.

I don’t think we’ll ever understand fully.
But don't you think it's weird she's pretending her marriage is absolutely fine and dandy when he should be in prison?

these people!! They’re acting like he’s some long lost friend who’s been away - he slunk off social media because everyone knew he was responsible for his child’s death. I’m not saying they should be hurling abuse at him but the sycophantic comments are nauseating.
