My god the comments on Jay Shetty’s insta about it. These people think she’s their friend and barely anyone has mentioned Brady lying to the police and the fact his (and her retelling of) story doesn’t tally with the police report. Anyone else would be charged. It’s absurd. She came across pretty well and what she said made sense but she still seems very shallow.

Anybody who hasn't read the police report will just believe her when she says Brady was feeding Teddy at the time. If her fans actually read it they'd see that he was watching tv cos he'd put a bet on and that he didn't once check on Trigg for 9 minutes. He also lied to the police about absolutely everything.

I don’t think she came across bad but also she didn’t come across really well either. She’s not very articulate. He was asking her detailed questions and she was very evasive and avoidant with her answers. Not sure why she bothered doing it really? She’s clearly cut up about poor Trigg, I’ll never take that away from her. But I’ll never understand how she can blame herself and blame the public more than she can blame man who was meant to be minding him. Unbelievable that in the space of 10 mins of her being gone he was dead.

Just when you think you have seen and heard everything - just read a post on TikTok “ Trigg would be so proud of you “ in relation to the interview. Wth.

Which is exactly why they are in this situation. Teenagers, pissing around, neglecting their responsibilities

She’s absolutely glowing in the podcast. My child nearly died as a baby through being born prem, she survived but it took me a long time to get over it, I was ashen, it took a long time to get a sparkle back and recover from our ordeal. Less than one year after his death (as this was filmed in Feb) she’s absolutely glowing, glammed up to the nines. If I was going on a podcast to talk about my sons ‘preventable death’ I’d be going no make up, neutral, and making sure tbe focus was on his story and the awareness of pool safety. She looks like she’s off to the baftas. She makes me sick. I do understand needing to live for Teddy, I do, but she seems to find it pretty bloody easy

She actually said he was "de-thawing" breast milk which makes no sense...
And how she is doing things differently with Teddy and not taking her eye off of him if she can help it - except to sleep alone upstairs in a strange house in a strange city. But go off, girl.

When she said that grief isn’t linear and nobody understands unless they go through that exact same thing. I have watched friends lose their children and be utter broken. However she’s right, we can’t relate because I can’t imagine many of us are leaving our toddlers face down in a pool while watching the TV. She must have the grief where if you are responsible for the death then you bounce back.

and her girls trips where she leaves him with the very person who allowed their other child to die

She's just rewritten the narrative to suit her, as has Brady and they are enabled in this by their families/friends/followers. That way, they can live guilt free.

Losing my son changed the person I was forever. I still have days where it paralyses me and I just want to pull the duvet over my head. Grief for most parents is a life sentence. They're not normal.

If I knew my baby died in such a horrific way and that he suffered, I would never enjoy another single day of my life again. I don’t get how she can make silly TikTok’s about nonsense. Even the clip of her floating in the sea on her holidays, all I would be thinking about is my baby drowning. I would be torn up and irreparable. It would consume me for life. I guess it’s good for her that she can in some ways move on and enjoy life again but it’s jarring to see too. I know the is sad and misses him, you can see it: but I don’t think she ever truly took a long enough break from making content. She was filming antique stores like 5 weeks later.

During the interview it struck me what bothers me so much about her since Trigg died: her whole communication about the event circles around her absolute right to NOT be paralyzed by grief, to go back to life as it was before, to NOT be terrified of water, to NOT become a helicopter parent for her younger son because “you cannot prevent everything as a parent”. It’s like she skipped years of grief and is now in a stage that other parents only reach after YEARS and years of work and therapy. Even her statement about grief and joy co-existihg; while at a theoretical level I can understand that might be true: it’s insane to even make this claim as a parent 8 monthts after losing your toddler who drowned to death for 10 minutes!!! Who is even thinking about joy at that point? Who is thinking about using tiktok as a creative outlet and posting selfies?? It’s not what she says it’s the fact that she makes these statements so quickly after Trigg’s death that shows me something is seriously wrong with her. Her transparency surprised me at some points though; the fact that she is able to admit she thought about leaving Brady or put all the guilt on him is very honest but again, she says this in past tense as
if this is something that happened years and years ago and a huge amount of time to process. Yet when I listen to her, she blamed Brady for the first 2 weeks and then went back to forgiving him and putting him on her social media as daddy of the year. Absolutelt crazy. I think she’s in a very very deep state of denial and the real grief will hit her later. Notice during the interview how she can’t even admit she has
“bad days”. That’s absolutely ridiculous, you’re not gonna tell me the toddler you loved with all your heart (because I really believe she loved him and seeing her tear up made me emotional at some points) drowned in your pool and suffered for minutes yet 1 year later you are getting up and working out every day, hanging out with friends and being the best mom and wife ever. I call bull.

She says she wants her old life back before she says she wants Trigg to have his life back. That says everything. She hates that this has ruined the perfect family image they had before.

At this point I truly believe her therapist has told her something along the lines of it was meant to happen, this is her path etc etc

To be fair, I just listened to the rest and she does say that when she left he was defrosting milk and she doesn’t excuse the events that happened after that. I don’t know how she managed to get over his terrible guilt, surely it’s the biggest ‘ick’ imaginable?

This!

Throughout the whole podcast all I was replaying was her cheerily going into a supermarket and showing us all the trick or treat candy on her first ever Halloween without her son! Like months after he passed!

She didn’t even have a child of Halloween age. There’s putting on a brave front for your child and then there’s THIS.
