This is what hippy grief therapy does - removes all layers of personal responsibility. It's like they've brain washed themselves and everyone around them into thinking it was fate, nothing to do with them and it would have happened no matter what they did.

I’ve followed this story for a while but never watched her channel. After listening to the Jay Shetty podcast I watched a few of her vlogs. I was shocked at how immature she sounds for her age. Is this how twenty somethings are acting nowadays? I also thought it really sad how their little boy was chatting away and they basically ignored him. If that’s how they carry on when a camera is recording then I dread to think how they treated him when the cameras stopped rolling. Also, in one of the vlogs she let her dogs outside and was shocked when they came in covered in mud because they had been digging in the garden. My conclusion was that she is so self absorbed the dogs and the boys are just props to her. I was even younger than her when I had my first child but I was fully aware that your life before you had children is very different to the one you have after. Children need your full attention and if you can’t give them that then parenthood is not for you. And her vlogs since her Son’s death are just plain weird and disturbing.
My issue is that she is now sort of lumping them in with the people who looked away for a few short minutes at a family BBQ, and their child drowned - when actually this was a much more complex situation, and there were multiple failings from both her and Brady in the lead-up to Triggs death, from failure/broken locks, no pool fence, etc.
The story she's spinning that Brady was making milk for the newborn or whatever is insane when we all know it's a lie, he was on his phone placing bets at very exact times per the police report. He also repeatedly lied to the police.

Someone pointed out in a different thread how she said she still has PTSD when she hears a helicopter over her house because of the news station.

Or every room in her house, that she records all day, facing onto that pool. Or hosting a garden party at thanksgiving or whenever it was, on the patio facing the pool. Or getting into bed with useless piece of tit Brady every night. bleeping gross.

I feel so mixed about this awful story. On one side I empathise that she lost her beautiful boy and must feel so much heartbreak and regret, but on the other hand there’s so many things that just doesn’t sit right with me. I have young kids and we frequently visit close family abroad and they don’t have a secure pool and every time we visit I am petrified of something happening to the kids around the pool. My youngest is not allowed out of my sight and my older kids are told they must have an adult with them when they swim, even though they can swim themselves now. How they could leave that little child around that pool without any supervision is mind boggling to me. The fact the father left him for 7 minutes and only noticed something was wrong when the dog was behaving strange. Even the dog was more aware of that little boy than his own dad. Then to add he was watching tv and placing sports bets when it happened! I just don’t know how she’s managed to forgive him and stay with him. Every time I would look at him I would feel pure rage. She’s apparently had lots of legal stuff hidden from the public as well which is beyond bizarre. I feel so sick about the whole thing tbh, from start to finish. That little boy was failed so badly by his parents.

I just think of Trigg drowning in the pool and knowing he was not going to make it, looking at his dad through the window and trying to alert him. Meanwhile dad was looking at the tv screen. Don’t think his last words would have been “best dad”…
