So Em's announced she's pregnant again which is lovely news...but it makes some of her recent content obviously seem sketchy. I know bumps often appear all at once, but you're not seriously telling me this was actually her 5 days ago? She must have done a hella pre-filming in the early stages!

I love Em, I really do. She doesn’t general irritate me even though she’s clearly privileged. And I’m very happy to see her news.
But. HG? Seriously? She ran a bleeping marathon and did all that training during the early stages of pregnancy. She did a tour. She’s been here, there and bloody everywhere. I remain deeply unconvinced that she had HG! I didn’t even have that but the nausea I had when pregnant was so debilitating that I spent 4 months lying still barely able to move my head without retching. There is no way I could have even run 10 steps or gone out anywhere because every single smell set it off, or stayed awake after 7pm.

She’s saying she found out the day after the marathon. I’m going to say she’s 16 weeks but prob trying to look like she’s further along for the drama.

I’m sure she commented that it didn’t effect her in the very early stages so I would assume she was very early on during the marathon and she probably didn’t know as last I heard her periods where not that regular. So I’d say they found out after the marathon
She just addressed it in stories and I have to say I think what many can’t relate to is her having the resources that aren’t available for everyone. She can afford private health care and health care on demand, she can afford meds she needs and whatever she can/wants to eat. Unfortunately in this day and age even average middle class can’t afford all that. She also has a completely different work set up than the average person and her support network is much more available and flexible because most people around her have the same or similar flexibility as she does. She can also afford childcare for her young child - again not something everyone has.
During her first pregnancy I did drag her for seemingly never being sick when she had something fun happening and I think that’s on her for how she communicated things then… in the past two years I also powered through migraines and insanely hard days because I had health issues that were either not visible or relatable for others, worked 2 days after surgery and so on. She does what most women do and “just gets on with it” despite health issues and I’m actually glad she is sharing more and putting it more into context.

Going from full blonde to what she has is a pretty big change for a person that was blonde for years - been there done that. But the buildup to it was a desperate way to keep up her engagement and she farmed it to death and back for content:

That’s a good point - hadn’t thought of that!!
I love how when it's a fun thing for Em alone (TS concert) she's grand and can jump up and down in glee, but when it's a thing for all the family where she has to parent (kids birthday party, festival on her stories today) she's too ill.
Also, I hate how she framed her podcast episode and is banging on about poor Blake Lively. Everything is a bleeping gender debate with her, she's painful!
