I personally think it's wrong to assume that just because your parents helped you out, that Em's parents are doing the same.

Parent. My mum died when I was a teenager.

I'm not saying she doesn't earn her own money too. Just think the "influencer" and losing followers excuse is a sad waste when she could have a good 6 months at least mat leave and still be OK financially.

Not saying anyone should run to their parents for everything and I don't either. Anything weve borrowed we usually pay back anyway (interest free so still better than a bank loan) but most people help their kids if they can for the big things like a new baby.

Or they could get a stand in co presenter to do the podcast with Alex for a while

I think Daddy Clarkson just saw that his little talentless daughter isn’t creating meaningful content, it’s clear for everyone the quality just gets worse and worse, I’m sure Em herself realises. It’s the same “don’t look at my bum but here it is” , “wear the shorts” , “I’m breastfeeding” content daily.
He’s decided to pull a few strings to help her out. As would any other parent in his position I’m sure!

worth nothing that it’s Em and her siblings who directly benefit from his tax avoiding, as he’s been explicit that he doesn’t want the “government” to get inheritance tax from him. Nevermind that it’s ostensibly the government paying for treating his hypochondriac daughter to bring his grandchildren into the world.

Her dad is very problematic. Funny how she never calls him out on anything isn’t it seen as he bankrolls her?

Premature is less than 37 - so she’s definitely not a preemie however so that she can be used for content she will forever be referred to as

I understand why she is doing this though.

A friend of mine had a baby at 37 weeks and she'd also call him premature (with an asterisk). She said that he was always a bit behind milestone wise but no health professional gave the fact that he was 3 weeks early any weighting.

It was a bit of both, she had been advised that she'd likely need a c-section because of something to do with an issue her mother and female family members also have (I can't remember exactly what) but Em really wanted a natural birth so gave it a go. After a lot of trying it became clear it wasn't going to happen so a c-section was the safest way for both Em and the baby

She's said a few times she only washes it once a week. Even before the baby.

I don't like to judge on appearances to be honest so it's her choice.

I am mega confused why she's not taking any mat leave though? She'll massively regret not having this time with her baby. I understand its more complicated being self employed (presumably?) but surely she will have enough money between her and Alex (& her parents) to be able to take some real time off to just be a family
