I wish to God she'd find this page so she could see how enraging, irritating and annoying those sodding, constant hand moves are! You'd think she'd notice it when she's editing her vlogs?!

I don't like her, personally. Neither I like her sister. First I thought what a breath of fresh air, but when you start looking closer, they are both privately educated, with loads of family help, etc. The UK is full of privileged influencers who got there because of their safety net (getting cameras from parents, etc.). Do you know any that aren't privileged from the start (and aren't total chats)? I need to watch more 'normal' people for my mental health.

Maybe the trick is to not look closer and take it for what it is. She works a full time job and isn’t relying on brands to fund her lifestyle and it’s not her fault she’s been privately educated. I’m not a Jess fan girl by any means and she drives me crackers when she constantly over-corrects herself but at least she’s a bit more relatable than your usual full-time content creator.

I guess I don’t know any who aren’t overtly privileged from the off because I don’t really pay any attention to that side of it. I only start kicking off when they start doing dodgy stuff, exploiting their kids and not disclosing ads etc. People don’t really have any control over their upbringing.

Am I the only one who also thinks she talks to Cameron weirdly. It sounds like she’s talking down to him or talking to him like he’s a child sometimes.

Also that fact that she said Cameron handles all of the financial stuff?? That is such a HUGE no no as a woman. As a 30 year old she needs to know how to save, invest, pay her bills, plan for the future. The stupid prompt of saving 3p a week isn’t doing anything for anyone

I absolutely love Jess’ vlogs. I’d be gutted if she quit her job and went full time influencer. I agree though, I can’t see her other half being fully on board if that happened.

I’m not sure I can see Ellen going back into the corporate world. I feel like Cameron probably does very well, and so Ellen is fully embracing becoming a Surrey housewife / influencer. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has a baby shortly after their wedding too.

Pregnant Ellen would be even more dull and unbearable. Pregnant influencers always behave like they're the first person to have a baby and become tone deaf to followers who may be struggling

I've woken early so am watching last week's (low views and only 244 likes). Is she a parody and has been having us all on? She's actually just said 'the best invention ever was when we made this biscuit jar' - it's literally biscuits in a jar by the kettle! And now she's banging on about Notion...!

I can’t bring myself to watch the reel. I get such ridiculous rage when I see her hand gestures. I also went back and watched her older vlogs and she definitely was not as bad as she is now. Does Cameron not give her feedback? My other half would be like wtf are you doing

She was so annoying in her latest video. When she couldn't make lunch because Cameron was on a work call in the kitchen. She acted like a child who couldn't wait and was making everything in her will to interrupt him.

I think she comes from a fairly affluent family. Maybe they paid for the wedding.

She seems very much like a teenager imo- fangirling non-stop over Taylor Swift, Disney and YA books. She wasn't like this a few years back, so I'm not sure what happened. Maybe, as was said above, it is all just for content and clicks.

I've watched one or two of her recent vlogs and I will say she's toned it down a bit with the constant hand clapping, at least.

She's acting like a 13 year old on a sleepover in the latest one, with her getting ready morning routine - and why does she refer to herself was 'we'?! The hands weren't had bad in the latest one, thankfully. Pissed my sides when she said she 'works from home' - what, titting about on Notion and putting out a video a week . Let's see how the Notion planning works out when she's got a kid to look after and the inevitable labradoodle...!

Also what is up with her uploading schedule?? She doesn’t have a corporate job anymore so it’s not like she’s busy with anything else. Feel like she’s getting lazy and only wants to do 1 video a week now.

I find her videos hard to watch these days. I generally quite enjoy cosy videos every so often, but her videos are just so boring and draining!

And then you have her bookish vlogs that consist purely of Waterstones haul, same repetitive reviews for the different books she’s reading, journaling like she’s 13. My gosh, what a life!

Oh wow! Had they only been together a year when they bought the house? I didn't know that! I think she lived with her ex in her London flat (maybe they initially co-owned it? I'm not sure about that).

That break-up must have screwed with her timeline which meant she wanted to be sure of a ring from Cameron.

From what I remember she was with her ex for 5+ years and had discussed getting engaged in the same year that he ended up breaking up with her. I’m sure it made her SUPER insecure about being in another long term relationship without getting a ring (which I kinda get but 1 year is still sooo soon to buy a house together). I weirdly feel like her and Cameron are together and engaged not necessarily because they are soulmates but more so that they’re two people who are ready to settle down and have found someone else who wants a similar lifestyle and within the same timeline. I know that comes across as really harsh but it’s like the taxi-cab theory basically.

There’s a vlog that went up in Apr 2022 with her previous boyfriend in and I think they broke up around Apr/May as she came back in June with ' big life changes ' . By October 2023 , she’d filmed the new house tour with Cameron !!

Wow! That is fast, especially when you consider the house search will probably have started months before they actually bought the house - and then, of course, the time to complete the sale etc.

They must have started talking about buying a place only a few months in to their relationship.

I guess she was pretty determined to stick to her timeline. Niomi Smart could take some tips from her!
