Totally agree, my husband lost his mum last year and the pain for him is so raw he finds it hard to talk about it. If I said to him shall we read old bday cards from her he would prob divorce me.

I have no doubt they are grieving there mum and mu heart does bleed for them as i cant imagine the pain in there hearts but really? I personally find it disgusting, if I was one of the twins of lucy I would step in.

My views have changed so much on Elle, she is actually worse than lucy I think. I thought Lucy exploited katie when they spoke about her life with special needs but wow this video is really something!

I've been following Elle for two years now. I always thought we had similar body shapes (one of the reasons I started following her) but now she talks about being a size XS/S and I've started to wonder if it's ME who's put on weight. It actually made me feel really shit about myself, like I'd let myself go because we were no longer similar sizes.

Then in her haul today you can see quite clearly she's got the shorts in a size 12! A very tight size 12, I'll add. It's actually made me realise how I shouldn't be comparing myself to influencers. I know it sounds ridiculous (and everyone knows you shouldn't!) but I've finally seen the light. I'm just annoyed with myself that it's taken me this long.

To be fair, as much as I dislike her rn, I think we need to stop with the pregnancy stuff.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but personally I think booking a holiday and swanning off in the middle of a pandemic is just wrong. Airports are open because some people need to travel for work and to see family? Fair enough if it was already booked and you'd lose out on money but they've purely gone for the gram and because they know loads of people can't. You know what, if they took a little quiet trip for her to get away because she's obviously had a hard time with losing her mum, then I would totally get it (as long as they were being careful and doing everything possible to be safe with covid) but this is literally just an excuse for them to rub it in everyone else's faces that they have the funds to book a last minute extravagant trip while the majority of us can't. If they weren't vlogging and posting insta pics of it 24/7, i'd respect it a lot more as I think I too would feel like getting away after the death of a loved one. I just can't tolerate the fake bullshit from her anymore, everything is a bloody performance to them. Just take some time to escape and process your emotions. Problem is with Elle and the same for her bestie Carys, they constantly hint that they want a baby now or are pregnant. Yes it’s a sensitive subject but if you don’t want to be asked at all don’t mention it every other vlog. Easy really. AND pointing that one girl out over all the comments she’s supposedly had is actually awful. That person was only asking yet Elle has published her name on Instagram. How embarrassing and I should imagine if she’s a big fan upsetting. If Elle wanted to do a post about it then at least delete the name or publish all of the comments not just the one, it actually makes it look as if she’s only had that one.

I've had an ED and BDD since I was like 13, and I'm 22 now. I know and absolutely am fine with the fact that it is not influencers jobs to make me feel good about myself.
HOWEVER.
I, and I'm sure countless others, would have had a way easier time coming to terms with my adult female body if influencers would be HONEST and REALISTIC about their body size. Elle constantly saying that she is an 8/XS when she is just not, feeds into the dysmorphic thoughts of her viewers.
I'm 5'6", 160lbs, 34/29/36 measurement: I wear size 10 top, 12 bottoms, 10 dress. AND THAT'S OKAY.
Yes different sizes/weights look different on different bodies, but there's just a snowballs chance in hell that Elle's an 8.
Case and point: Those blue shorts in this holiday shop vid were a 12 and were tight on her. AND THAT'S OKAY.
Forcing yourself into 2x too small clothing and flaunting it to impressionable viewers is so so dangerous. She's no doubt got size 12 viewers sitting here thinking they're a similar size and hating themselves for not fitting into an 8/XS.
