Her passport drama just doesn't add up. I don't think you need passports to book (happy to be corrected on this) but she would have required them to check-in. So her passport was easily accessible, but her children's ones were nowhere to be found. I recently travelled from Gatwick to Cork, and Ryanair sent me so many reminder emails about my upcoming trip and to make sure all travel documents and compliance with covid testing were in order etc. Would that not prompt you to check your and your children’s travel documents, especially if they were so excited about the trip.I agree with you. Would she have needed them to book (I don’t know if she would have, going from England to Ireland?). It seems weird. Also, finding out last minute that she wasn’t able to rent a car as she has so many points on her licence? Would that not have come up beforehand too? I do think that with anxiety and her AD/HD like behaviour, planning details would be challenging but the things that happened seem a stretch, even for her.
