I hate the way she handles these very serious topics. It's wrong, and it leaves me very uncomfortable. Not the topics themselves, but her approaches to them.
I don't believe there's a right or a wrong "place" to discuss difficult subjects (within reason). People with stories, I believe, should tell them where and how they see fit.
But the way she solicits very personal detail from her followers for engagement and then just plasters them out for thousands to see. They're simply not her stories to tell and the way she hops from ads, dogs, kids, fashion etc to incredibly serious topics and back again is chaotic as fuck and very, very wrong. Credible mental health/wellbeing practitioners or advocates create dedicated, safe spaces online for the sharing of stories and are qualified in various ways to provide advice/support to the story-tellers and to provide context, signposting etc to their followers at large.
I'm not in any way questioning her personal, lived experiences. But they don't and never will qualify her to do what she's doing, or make it ok to use very serious topics and other people's painful experiences as engagement tools.
