nah, would still be he/him. can mimic and play extreme makeover all you want, still not a woman
I didn’t say he’d be a woman, I just don’t really give a duck about pronouns. I always misgender people in my second language, even myself sometimes so for me it’s just words haha. That’s just my opinion, I’m aware others won’t agree.

Yep, I don't agree. He is a man end of and therefore he is He / Him

instead of using she/her for dylan, you can just tell every woman to go duck herself 💗
I understand what you're saying and I actually went through my post changing 'he' and 'his' not knowing what to do 🤷‍♀️ it's such a delicate, touchy subject. If I'd have left it, no doubt someone else would have jumped on me. I didn't know what to do but I certainly didn't set out to rattle anyone's cage.

You're asking people to try and understand and comprehend something that, unless we've experienced ourselves, we simply never will. I've never had a psychotic episode so I can't fully comprehend how that feels. I've never wanted to hunt and kill an animal so cannot wrap my head around why people do that.

Further, I don't feel offended nor threatened by trans people. I've not spent enough time researching it to really form an opinion or to know what I'm talking about. I do however understand why some women don't like it.

What I am offended by, however, is you being rude to me. Suggesting I tell women to 'go duck themselves'. I assume you're a woman? Your comment alone goes against women's solidarity. Surely this is what Dylan threatens? Please don't be nasty to me again. There was no reason to jump on me in that manner.

I know, I just think like if I call you he / him right now, does that make you a male (I’m assuming you’re a woman)? No of course not, you’re still female no matter what I call you, words can’t change biology, so who cares?

I care. I am a woman, with the body and lived experience of a woman. A man can't just decide to be a woman, you don't get to choose your sex.
A lifetime of male privilege and social conditioning does not just disappear regardless of pronouns, hormones or surgery.

Pronouns are a foot in the door to men being accepted as real women and this is the first step to men accessing women's safe spaces - prisons, hospitals, DV refuges, changing rooms, breastfeeding services - this is the ridiculous situation women are currently facing.

Smh can you read? If so please go back and look at my post again, specifically the part where I said regardless of what you call him he will still be a MAN, ALWAYS.

I edited my post as I went off on a rant, and I was adding a bit about why pronouns matter when you posted.
We both appear to be on the same page so it's all good. I don't want to fight, I can't be arsed to be honest, it is Christmas and a tit time to be a woman. And a man will always be a man, so I will refer to him as a man.

Anyone wishing to be ‘nice’ should read this article. It’s very good. Apart from the issues mentioned in it my position is that I just don’t like lying and in particular lying because someone else is forcing me to do so. It’s a slippery slope, being forced to deny reality, and it’s already becoming very apparent where that slope is leading to.

That’s the thing, I actually agree with pretty much all the GC stuff, I just don’t care when it comes to pronouns or names as to me it’s just words.
I don’t think you should feel forced to call him she/her (or anyone else) if you don’t want to either.

If it’s just words why are they so keen on forcing people to do it? And why do people (particularly women, because most men ‘misgender’ with impunity and don’t feel any guilt or regret) feel such a need to comply even when the person is the other side of the world and will never even know about it?

I literally just said no one should be forced to use certain pronouns for someone if they don’t want to lol.
Even for me, I’m a woman and if you started calling me he/him, I’d be like ok bit weird but I genuinely would not care because at the end of the day I’m still a female no matter what you call me.

But people are being forced, that’s the point I’m making. I’m not having a go at you, or talking about you specifically, I just think it’s an important topic and one that’s quite central to the whole debate.
I actually can see that at some point it will become illegal and a punishable by law crime to misgender someone who identifies as ‘trans’. That degree of compelled speech is unprecedented unless you start looking at blasphemy laws in religious dictatorships.

Tattle always feels like an echo chamber when it comes to certain issues, especially the gender ones. I think if people want to use someone’s preferred pronouns there really isn’t a need to be so extremely rude about it as a reply. It’s why I used they/them in my posts but really I shouldn’t feel the need to change my language because some people will jump down my throat about it

I do agree that Dylan had a beautiful face shape and I don’t think it was overly masculine. I think her ‘problem’ is the voice tbh

And I think that’s very wrong, no one should be losing their jobs over using the wrong pronouns and the idea of it being punishable by law is absolutely terrifying to be honest.
I’m just talking solely about my personal view on pronouns tbf

Exactly. The pronouns issue is a Trojan horse - it seems innocuous and irrelevant to call people (men) by their preferred pronoun as a man is clearly a man, but there is much more at stake here.
If they (men) are to be called she/her then the next step is for men to be able to access all women's safe space, pronouns are the first step to dismantling safety for women.
There is a reason women have separate safe spaces, for their dignity, safety, and protection.

He had a lovely face, nothing wrong with it - beautiful skin and bone structure - and now it's been messed with, god knows what it'll look like - he was already starting to sound like Joan Rivers in his after-op TikTok the other day...

There was nothing womanly about his face, and even after this surgery, he will still look like a man. FFS rarely has the effect they intend it to, it makes men look like uncanny valley mannequins or sex dolls at best. It’s tragic that he’s done this. No matter how hard he tries, he will never come close to resembling a woman and neither does any other transgender.
Dylan has an incredibly masculine frame too, he is built like an ironing board. Hormones can’t change bone structure. Next he will be getting large transfer or Brazilian butt lift surgery.
