What makes you think Dylan has dysphoria?
That those realisations were come to off camera and what we get is an actor putting on a show for tik tok. I'm just highly aware that nothing we see on online video with influencers is real. She clearly is doing the heightened YouTuber character which a lot of people have done in the past. In the same way if a gay man was putting on a really heightened stereotypical gay character on tik tok I wouldn't just assume they aren't actually gay, just that this is what they have chosen for their character in their content output to be. The truth is none of us know who she is when that camera is off.

Can I ask how old you are out of interest? I’ve been reading your posts on the gender threads as well and I’m wondering if you are a gen Z like me or whether you’re older
Sure thing, I'm 33 :)

This is what I responded to in your post - "to me it’s just words"
Ok, so you’ve completely taken out of context what I was saying then. I said that no one should feel forced to say anything they don’t want to, so why respond going ‘oh so how about we compel people to say inshallah at the end of every sentence’?
You’re essentially responding to my post and attempting to get me to defend a point which I am literally not making.

What exactly is he creating? Serious question.
Videos on TikTok, content. Do you mean it more in a 'deeper meaning' Jordan Peterson way? What exactly is content, or anything?

Serious answer, Dylan is a creator of content. You might not like the content, I don't anyway but she is a content creator. A bad movie is still a movie.

Are you deliberately reading my intentions as ill?

No, I'm saying that they WILL try at some point. I'm speaking MY opinion and my feelings about it which no one in this thread has to agree with.

There's already enough for us to stress about so I'm not going to add to that. You don't need to accuse me of spreading fear - especially amongst women who I deeply care about!

(Also you stated as fact that it will "never" happen, how do you know that? this movement is barbaric, it's not a far stretch to think it may come some time in the future whether it be next year or in 20)
Well say that then, because the way you said that it hadn’t been done successfully yet but they were going to ‘keep attempting’ makes it sound like you think they’re already tried, which they haven’t.
I didn’t state as a fact that it would ‘never’ happen.

If it’s just words why are they so keen on forcing people to do it? And why do people (particularly women, because most men ‘misgender’ with impunity and don’t feel any guilt or regret) feel such a need to comply even when the person is the other side of the world and will never even know about it?
I literally just said no one should be forced to use certain pronouns for someone if they don’t want to lol.
Even for me, I’m a woman and if you started calling me he/him, I’d be like ok bit weird but I genuinely would not care because at the end of the day I’m still a female no matter what you call me.

Sue! You called Dylan “he”. What does this mean??!
she’s not a monster! Haha if you look above, Dylan just doesn’t sit right with me in terms of the content and I would have rather said they there but it’s language we all slip! I replied in the other thread though Dylan is not a good rep for the trans people I’ve watched and listened to

Is it normal for anybody to have had any type of reconstruction surgery on the face to be shaking their head and jumping around like that? Genuine question, as I don’t know anybody who’s had anything like a nose job but I thought you’d have to try and keep it as still as possible.
You can start doing strenuous exercise 4 weeks after surgery. Don’t know how long it’s been for Dylan though.

I care. I am a woman, with the body and lived experience of a woman. A man can't just decide to be a woman, you don't get to choose your sex.
A lifetime of male privilege and social conditioning does not just disappear regardless of pronouns, hormones or surgery.
Smh can you read? If so please go back and look at my post again, specifically the part where I said regardless of what you call him he will still be a MAN, ALWAYS.

I need to go and listen to the proper words of the song now to bleach my eardrums...

Hello wig. Hello not a womanly face.

if you wanted to giggle and share secrets with "the girls" you'd have been much better off as a camp gay man.

it shall take a while for the cringe to wear off from the falsetto and chest voice blend.

To be clear, I’m not accusing him of this, as I personally love The Little Mermaid and have done for a long time and would sing the songs any change I got (if I could sing!) but from the accusations of TRAs co-opting the BLM movement, and the obvious accusations of TRAs co-opting Womens rights, why is it now that he has released this “performance” at the exact same time that the trailer for the new The Little Mermaid movie was released that features a young black woman in the starring role? Anyone with any nuance, consideration or indeed common sense would link the two, I would have thought. (Then again, you’ve got whole brands with whole HR and advertising departments that routinely fall into this trap so either I, and most on this thread are very clever and would be suitable in these roles, and more intelligent than the hires they’ve hired in these huge organisations and are very, very clever individuals in seeing this, or the ones actually hired and making these decisions are in fact, very, very stupid and unsuitable).

Who said I was talking about ‘transgender people’? I didn’t. Perhaps in your hurry to get your little preachy frisson you should stop putting words in peoples mouths and making assumptions.
I wasn’t talking about the mythical ‘transgender people’ I was talking about the kind of people who constantly police others about their pronoun use. There’s a lot of them about, even on here.
Because you said 'them'. It felt very targeted at the group of people who are asking for their pronouns to be accepted. I would ask for a kinder conversation but preachy frisson is too good of a term for me to reply with that, thank you for adding that to my vocabulary 😂 I love it!

Anyway not everyone with a pronouns on their profile is going around like that policing people. I don't get in any situations where I would have to I suppose so maybe thats why I don't. Thank you anyway for replying.

I always wonder about creators like Dylan in the future, there are so many massive content creators now, what happens to them in five years when nobody cares?
