There’s a list in this Wikipedia entry. That case is literally the only one mentioned involving a man and we all know how successful that was.
Even in cases involving women it’s expected that the transplanted uterus will be removed after pregnancy to avoid a lifetime of anti-rejection drugs.

But they literally have tried it? The first time was in 1931 so it must have been tried more times in the last 91 years.
A Josef Mengele style experimental operation done in 1931, nearly 100 years ago which hasn’t been tried since, before the Nuremberg code and every other ethical law about human experimentation was put into place…

Yes ok, but I think the fact that it was done at all supports @mozzarellagirl ’s point that they will keep trying. I’m sure there is a doctor somewhere, in India maybe, who has been recently claiming to be able to do it? As long as there are men who fetishise having a uterus, there will be doctors who are willing to at least suggest that they will attempt these experiments. Is it really a million miles away from Dr Gallagher on the “unethical medical procedures” scale?

Ok if you found a case where it once happened, then fair play, I concede that. However, you can’t make out like they’re actively harvesting uteruses from organ donors and shoving them into transgender malea and then back up your argument with a lone case of human experimentation which occurred nearly 100 years ago around the same time the nazis were carrying out brutal surgical experiments on people in concentration camps, before human rights laws existed, before it was illegal to even be gay and transgender rights activism didn’t even exist. It’s not even remotely the same thing.

All I’m saying if it gets to the point where they’re actively attempting to implant female reproductive organs into males, then fair play take yourself off the organ donor register. Until that point, stop spreading misinformation that it’s currently happening? That was my point in the original post I replied to.

I don’t think anyone was making out it was actively happening. @mozzarellagirl said she was worried about it because they might “keep trying”. I’m just saying I can see her point because it has been tried. And I do get your point too, that it doesn’t seem worth worrying about right now as it’s not yet a thing. I think we are all on the same page really, and we’ve established that it’s not something that is happening yet but it could in the future.

Wow I just read that, fascinating stuff 😳
But why would a uterus transplant been done when he/she was aged 48? That's strange in itself.
No wonder he died young. As I've said before, a lot of these trans people today won't make old bones. No one can know what the long term effects of cross sex hormones, puberty blockers are numerous surgeries will be.

Tranbulance Chasers-R-Us will be raking it in and the talk shows will be awash with former blue-fringes - “Forced into teetus deletus, now we’ve no sexual function and no-one believes us”

So glad I have found this. I remember dylans posts from early days of "being a girl" I honestly thought it was a joke at first because it was so stereotypical.

Oh god, I know we don’t have thread titles in here and I think that’s definitely right, but if this was any other thread I’d be nominating that so hard 😂😭😂
Edit - oops I thought I was in the gender discussion thread. Probably not a good idea to propose it for this one either 😬!

I’ve mentioned it before- I was part of the pendlebury childrens hospital growth hormone scheme. It was stopped because children were dying of cjd. I only joined near the end and didn’t get the injections just the tester to see if I was suitable - luckily I wasn’t. Even so I can never give blood/ donate organs and my hospital records disappeared. In years to come I can see the repercussions of giving out of hormone blockers etc being just like this but a much bigger scale.

Apparently he’s booked in for his FFS this month. It was on one of his stories. In one of his current posts he’s saying how great it was to go on holiday to BoraBora and not shave…whilst sporting a 5 o’clock shadow Brian Blessed would approve of. 🙄

Which of his ‘heels’ will he be wearing to go skiing? His ‘hiking heels’ maybe?

I bet he’ll be gutted to find he’s got a new contender to the ‘days of girlhood’ throne over on TikTok.
