I've just watched the first episode and I'm a little bit distracted....are they doing voiceovers with different voice actors...and even when they're speaking English?? It's very out of sync and jarring since we know the cast's natural voices. When Safa speaks it is very noticeable!! Not sure if something is wrong with my Netflix or if I'm going crazy so would love to know if anyone thinks the same 😅

I had the same thing. You have to change setting to audio as original Arabic with English subtitles. It was so off putting with the dubbing.

Does this season have fewer lines in English and more in Arabic? I watch with the subtitles on instead of dubbing, and I can't double screen anymore cos having to look at the subtitles so much when they're speaking Arabic.

I do love the sound of them speaking Arabic.
I don’t know what’s up with the subtitles but I like to have them on in English as well to catch any mumbling but it’ll only let me do Arabic with English subtitles. Boo.

Does anyone else feel like Mona could possibly be autistic? All these very specific schedules, lists, not liking suprised etc etc. Unless she is just an absolute control freak.

Just very type A. I can’t stand people like her. She seems nice enough but control freaks are a big no no for me.

I felt that in the last couple of episodes it almost became comical them talking about her schedule. It was pretty much her only story line so she had to refer to it relentlessly! I think she’s really OTT about it because she associates being busy with being successful.

With Ebraheem/Bliss, I don’t recall seeing security step in which I thought was odd. Kept those cameras rolling for the money shots! (I wasn’t paying 100% attention so maybe they did).

There was a big security guy ! But I hated how evraheem lied about what really happened … bliss learnt a lesson : never respond to violence because things get twisted

I audibly gasped when the plate got thrown! I’ve never seen a crew let it get that far before, I think even in Geordie Shore heyday there wasn’t anyone getting hurt. They really did fight like a couple of girls. I’ve loved this season tho, it’s so trashy.

I feel like Ebraheem’s marriage issues have bubbled up and caused him to be really bitter and angry. He was acting erratically all season; standing on the table in his fight with Hanna, tell’s his best friend’s secret, then shoving everything of the table at Bliss. He was like a crazy person.

I had secondhand embarrassment at them revealing his wife is upset and they never spend time together. Like no tit. I at least thought she was in one it and maybe had her own reasons for a lavender marriage but it seems like that’s not the case?! If so, it was really ducked up for him to marry her.

It’s his 3rd marriage btw and it’s not a coincidence that neither of them has worked out
The mere fact that he is hiding the wife is fishy

I’m often surprised in a place where it’s illegal to be gay, he is really obviously gay! Yes he got himself a wife but come on now. I wonder if his money is what keeps him safe. It really is a shame that people have to hide it over there, but I feel bad for the wife. There are children too, aren’t there?

There’s lots of gay people who live in Dubai there’s quite a big community I think as long as they’re not PDA it’s a turn a blind eye sort of situation
