Happy Friday! Well done for sticking to your guns! Chinese sounds incredible, bet it was amazing! You deserve a treat - even in lent
Love that, so thoughtful! I think I will fall off the wagon when we can socialise a bit more but will still be tracking in the app and planning when to drink.I have planned a few social things to do from next week now we can have two households in a private garden. Bless, my bestie who I always get drunk with messaged saying "what shall I bring, if you are still not drinking do you want some 0% stuff?" and I realised what great friends I have that there is no pressure there to drink![]()
Please don’t beat yourself upmorning, alkies. Although the only one in this thread right now is me. Everyone’s done so well. I am ashamed to admit I’ve relapsed in my all or nothing style, and drank throughout the whole weekend. and of course the rest has followed: feeling guilty, fat, emotional etc. I’m posting here, because you lot never judge and support. Onwards and upwards, I’m back on track and back to my gym ( aka garage). Weightlifting has been my saviour. I’m feeling better today. Have a nice day guys. Sun is shining here in Essex. Who needs Maldives for ffs

Oh I’ll give her coop one a go. I love the mint robinsons too and tried a sparkling frexinet rose 0.5% from Sainsbury’s which was lovely.I had a can of raspberry mojito on Mothers Day and felt totally satisfied with just that! Another booze free weekend for me ahead.
Loving coop 0.5% alcohol Sauv Blanc as it has just that slight alcoholy taste like wine. Also whoever recommended the Crushed Mint Robinsons cordial, omg I mixed with lemonade and loads of ice and it tasted just like a mojito! So will probably have that at some point too![]()
i completely agree with you! I feel amazing not drinking, not even craving it. My mental health has never been better and it’s so great waking up with a clear head every morningI think this is why I love this thread. It's not about 'Dry March' (the title literally only comes because we have continued the threads since official Dry Jan), it's about our members wanting a life change. Wanting to see what a life with reduced alcohol looks like. Some of us are completely dry, others have had a couple of drinks in total, others have had full on binge weekends...but our commonality is we all value our lives and want to try and live without the terrible way we all feel after drinking.
I know things will shift and change when life gets back to normal, but I just feel great not drinking!!
Aww thanks @Pinkpen 84Congrats all! I must admit I drank more in March than initially anticipated, but still much better than before. I’m also planning to drink on Easter Sunday and then hoping to abstain till May.
@SpiceWeasel going back to work will be a definite good motivation to continue. You’ve done amazing.
@Prgirl_cesca nice to have such supportive friends. My lot are terrible drunks. Sometimes I worry if that’s the only thing we have in common.
