Strange how Melanie never replies to her. It's not like they've never met.

She’s ignored her a few times on Instagram as well, but for a long time neither of them had any kind of interaction, I assumed they must have fallen out or something, strangely aisling only really started sniffing around mel again after Melanie had her kid, when she was pregnant herself (but hadn’t told the viewers yet)

Agreed she seems lovely and quite genuine tbf I found her far more irritating years ago when she was with her first boyfriend, the one with the massive breakup that was very hard for her, I just think she hasn’t evolved with the times and she could do so much more

She said in a recent video that they have a deposit down on a new build house that hasn't started yet. But she also said they were looking elsewhere too. I don't believe a word of it, if you put down a deposit then you're serious about the house. You wouldn't do that on a whim.

100%. The babies grow so fast, it’s nice to cherish those early days. I think most women try to slow down and enjoy spending the time with the baby while on maternity leave , because it’s short enough and once you go back to work you are so much busier. Aisling only seems to have brows, nails, makeup, shopping in Zara, fitting in her S size dresses on her mind.

I knew this would be the way, she’s definitely not the person who put a hard work in to anything. Newborn baby, breastfeeding is hard, but worth doing, she only wanted to check the baby off her list. Especially with her parents allowing for this, I don’t see it changing any time soon. I bet they are looking to buy a house close to her parents so they can use them whenever they need

shrs not maternal at all, she never seemed to be with her kids friends either, I doubt she’s breastfeeding with the amount of times she’s away, she’s probably pumping for weight loss reasons

Don't forget all the weekly trips to Penneys in Blanch and Liffey Valley and Zara. She seems to be trying to cash in on those "shop with me" type tiktoks.

It’s tacky shite that she shows too. I’m sorry Ashling 99 percent of new mothers or mothers in general don’t get a chance too or want too Go off on weekends away and nights out ect. Unless they are faces by grace. But that yoke is a law onto herself.

I don't know another adult over the age of 25 that has the same cute obsession. But that being said I try not to same anyone for their aesthetic preferences. (I fail at that though, some people have awful taste).To each their own and all that. For me it's just the needless tat. None of it anything that will stand the test of time.

same as. i try not to as well, but when an adult has an over the top disney obsession at 30+ its hard not to judge. i mean most people like disney (i assume) but dont take it to the extreme that she does. between her pjs, dvds, disney+, baby stuff, the nik naks etc. its a lot for a grown adult and expectant mother. maybe its just me but i find that level of obsessivness of disney immature/child like. when she was with jimmy she had them in her "office/studio" and on top of their luxe grey bed. its too much
i know shes had this obsession a long time but i do think its time to let it go at her age.

Is she not just with Paddy slightly over a year? Was it not 2019 she was with John and meant to be moving into his apartment then everything went quiet she was back home and suddenly with Paddy?

she and john started going out mid-2018 and moved in together in autumn 2018. they then broke up early 2019. she started going out with paddy in mid-2019 and announced her pregnancy last autumn i think it was.

I don’t think a woman needs to become some kind of housewife chained to her baby and the kitchen sink when they have a newborn,
but I’ve never seen a new mum go away so many times and spend so much time getting nails and hair extensions and micro blading done, in between her shopping trips and visits to her friends without the baby. All in the first few weeks/months of his birth.

What do you think of the house?
I love how Paddy gets an office but has to share it as a family room in evenings & weekend, yet she also gets an office/walk in wardrobe & there's no mention of her sharing it

Decent enough house size wise and it should be nice once they finish the renovation. It’s definitely not in Dublin though, a different style and you never get that big of a utility room if any at all. The house needs not so much work but she still expects it to take 6 months for renovation, it seems long. My in laws fully gutted and then renovated their house and moved in 4 months.
