Ah ok yes it was. Hopefully she is also pursuing this legally....

So presumably she has NO consent in any form from Rosie? I imagine JT kept 'notes' from those meetings and conversations, so an information request concerning that would be possibly more telling....
Zero consent from Rosie and that’s a good idea re the info request

Stalling is definitely what she is doing, waiting till the very last day the reply is due and making a pretty vague reply. She is deliberately trying to make is too stressful--and expensive---for the women to pursue. Remember when she scared all her 'fans' that after the Depp v Heard result all female victims of abuse were now at risk of being sued for talking about it? Then, when unsurprisingly she received panicking posts from women in response she went to great lengths to tell them not to worry as taking legal action was expensive and most people couldn't afford it....? This is exactly what she is banking on in this case. More examples of the power imbalance she creates, yet her life's 'work' is supposed to be about campaigning against such power imbalances.

It wasn’t just a single restaurant meeting either Rosie and Jess were ‘friends’. They had met numerous times and Rosie had even been to JTs house several times. Rosie was NEVER a client nor a case study. It was a private conversation between two women working in same arena but JT then used it much later in her SBP book.
Wow can you imagine having a 'friend' who noted down, either mentally or otherwise, everything you said and then put it in a book/books without your consent? Even journalists, many of whom operate under loose ethical boundaries, have some standards regarding what is off and on the record.

Was wandering how come none of her employees have a linkiedin page or online presence? the worker who typed up the response to SA has no identity online. It all seems so fake.

It's strange isn't it? And the company has been classed as dormant throughout its whole existence, certainly up until the end of March 2021. No trading whatsoever? Have they not run their online training courses and been selling books and reports? It lists its principal activities as 'book publishing' and, laughably, 'publishing of learned journals', surely they traded over the pandemic?

Ultimately she's legally obligated to respond to a SAR and GDPR law is clear that individuals have a right to access information held about them.

As far as I can see, Jess has no legitimate reason to deny the request.

Well she has tried to wriggle out of it on the 'malicious' grounds, but I very much think having firstly chosen to respond negates that stance. Data protection is a very big deal and much larger companies than hers, ie. companies with proper systems in place, have been fined for breaches. There are also seemingly many WhatsApp messages between employees of her all about SA and the other women, sharing personal information about them; I'm quite sure that would also come under data protection. I believe these messages have been shared with the women involved; that's what happens when treat your employees like dirt, they tend to come back and bite you!

The report author had a twitter account until very recently. Another of the team also seems to have deleted her account very recently.

Pure conjecture, but I really hope they haven't come off twitter in support of Jess when she had her little flounce recently, claiming that twitter was too toxic, when it was clear it was that she couldn't handle being challenged about her behaviour towards Sally Ann.

I notice Jess hasn't actually deleted her account completely. But if her staff have tweeted their accounts in support of Jess, that's a shame for them as they're much more likely to get noticed by other professionals on Twitter rather than Facebook etc.

Although, on the other hand, given Jess's research lacks credibility because of the lack of an ethics panel or peer review, maybe it's a good thing for them if they're not overly associated with her!

Jess gave some excuse about not being able to get a business account in lockdown or some nonsense, so all the money has been going through her sole trader account apparently.

It will be VERY interesting to see what VF posts for accounts in April. If they do, that is. I notice Jessica has folded all her old companies before they had to show accounts. Will VF break the pattern, or will she fold again?

The excuse given is around not being able to open bank account in lockdown. Which is a load of nonsense. A few paused for a few months. That’s it. VF has existed since early 2019. About a year before lockdown.
JT says she’s a sole trader and does tax/ employment that way (can be done) but the lies about dormant accounts….

VictimFocus grew a lot in the last year, might that have something to do with it? So, in the financial year ending 2021 they only had a couple of staff I think (other than Jaimi and her mum). But over the last year they've employed loads more - although they've lost lots of them too. (Not too far off half their team have left or been sacked from what I hear).

How much detail is made public from a tax return from a company the size of VF? Will we learn much from it?

I bet she applied for covid bounceback loans though...

Any business should file accounts if trading, even if it makes £0. The name “Victim Focus” has been trading ie it’s been doing business things. Technically JT could be sole trader and use another name as a business ( think hobbyist type business). But it’s dodgier ground when a business name is registered as dormant but being used.
Filed accounts can vary in detail but there should be some breakdown.

I assume this is who sent the email to Sally-Ann, can't find any link to VictimFocus however.
If she has experienced narcissistic abuse it does make sense that she would be drawn to victim focus. When she realises who Jess is it will be tough to deal with. I think it is for all people who believe in her when they see beyond the fake persona she projects.

JT also shared very personal information about SA with complete strangers who came out in support of SA via DM on Twitter. She said that SA was very vulnerable and was being used by an organisation that hated JT and VF. It’s quite alarming she shared personal info in this way as she had never met these people but told them the name and place of the organisation offering SA support which then clearly made it easy to know in which area SA was living. I think the person she shared this info with sent it to SA so she was aware of what JT was doing.

If the accounts are registered with companies house then it’ll show all her income/expenditure for VF.

Don't you think it appears she is losing her fans? Only a handful of comments on her new twitter posts, and not going up at all---Even her Facebook posts--which I have to look via my son's account, seeing as she she blocked me for 'liking' a critical comment on one of her posts--now are only getting 20-30 comments when previous ones have had hundreds. Maybe the comments now are all criticisms, which we know she deletes when they appear. So it seems maybe the tide is turning and people are seeing her for what she is.....

Her Instagram posts still get hundreds of likes - I often wonder who these people are, liking the “I married my best friend” posts and what goes through their minds - but maybe that’s a less critical forum?

You can ‘buy’ likes on Instagram. Soon as you open an account that relates to business etc you get inundated with offers in your messages offering to sell you 1000s of followers and likes.

Which again is not only a gross breach of ethics, but also breaches data protection. I notice JT stated about the organisation 'they have been reported to the charities commission more times than I can count'---mmm the only way she would know that if she was the one doing the reporting! And probably mobilising her employees and 'fans' to do the same. Again, cult-like behaviour. So she makes malicious reports about 'rival' charities, I would say that makes her fair game to be reported herself.....what goes around comes around.....

Wow do people do this?? I’m obviously very naive! I wonder if that’s what she’s done? When people pay for fake followers do they give them likes as well? Sorry am pretty clueless about social media!

ETA There are some surprising people following her… I wonder if she came to a lot of people’s attention because of her GC posts - and then a lot of them haven’t noticed that she hasn’t posted anything GC in months…
