It’s your own choice to follow or not follow the rules, but the responsibility lies with the restaurant to make sure that they are adhering to the rules and their choice not to act with due diligence. Not surprised the restaurant aren’t going by the rules though, it is Mozza after all and the owner isn’t exactly known for being top tier.
She works in a public facing role so should be at least trying to be more sensible than she has been.
