I fear being buried or cremated alive. That we might somehow still have awareness.
I know how mad that makes me sound.

yes! It’s the same when I think about the universe it just is all really mind blowing, fascinating, incredible and scary at the same time. It's quite a scary thought. It's a bit like when I think about the beginning of the universe, I just think "but what was here before then?" There always has to be a 'before'!
Good Grogu avatar by the way!
Yeah I know what you mean about life being a joke, and being born and living only for it all to end. I often wonder why humans are even necessary (?) because as we've learned, we don't really give much back to nature and the environment, we seem to be the only animals that take from the environment and seem to need a lot to survive, whereas other animals are designed to survive far better than we are. Maybe I'm totally wrong, but it does seem that way to me.If I think too much about life (and death) it freaks me the f out. What on Earth is the point of all the stuff we have to go through (being a child, working, school, depression, illness, marriage, happiness etc etc) for it all to be over in a flash and then it just be nothing forever. Sometimes I think it must be a joke because it’s so bizarre.
Off topic but I once (accidentally) took a load of ketamine (don’t ask I was a young 21 year old at uni thinking I was cool) and I had the most insane trip where I found out it was all a game and when you die you go to a new world which is a lot more simple. I know it’s a load of crap but sometimes it reassures me and my husband jokes that maybe a bit of my brain was accidentally unlocked and I saw something I shouldn’t have
On a serious note however, I do always say, and 100% mean it, that getting older is such a privilege and you should try to enjoy every moment of your life as much as you can. One phone call can change your life forever as you know it, so try and find the light in the good parts![]()
