Went to see the Soul tour yesterday, I was a bit underwhelmed. Has anyone else been?
Me. I went to sheffield, the first time ive seen them after wanting to for years. I loved the story and theme of the show but did feel underwhelmed with the dancing, there was quite a lot of new faces i didnt know.
They were really good dont get me wrong but feel the show n performances were probably better years ago
Exactly how I felt! I feel like their last tour was way more engaging and fast paced.
They were amazing but nothing I haven't seen before. I can't imagine them continuing to do this for much longer, especially since Ashley is 37. Only 3 female dancers too, which I was surprised about.
Starr is really up her self tbh - like thinks shes the best thing since sliced bread and super rude
She would have no opportunities without Diversity, the Kiely name, and being Perri’s sister. Mental how much money and opportunities she’s gotten in the past year especially.
Yeah she’s a bleep energy to be honest, even more in recent years when she became close with Jess and got into the modelling. The fake boobs are ridiculous.
What did she do that you thought was really rude?
I have a lot of respect for Perri’s half sister, Elvie who has kept out of the their limelight and has a good career.

I seen Perri’s really gotten into video making and to be honest, his videos and the themes are actually quite decent.
I'm sure he will end up making contacts in industry and that he will break into that field fully post-dancing.
From his first video that he uploaded, it was pretty much implied that it was a shock that they were let go from the radio and he felt lost in terms of what was next and was the catalyst for him to start a YouTube.
I do think that Perri is trying to break into this to get some sort of a second income as the loss of the radio would've been a massive hit.
I'm sure he will end up making contacts in industry and that he will break into that field fully post-dancing.

Noticed she doesn't have Diversity in her bio so has she officially left now?
Yes, she left summer last year to be honest. She was part of rehearsals and the PR photos for it so the plan was for her to be on tour but she blew up in terms of the PR deals she was getting.
I think she does her own individual dance classes occasionally and it wouldn't make sense for her to be part of Diversity anymore from a profitability perspective.
Weird she never put up a tribute post to say she left.
I don't think there will be another tour but then again they can easily get other members to “replace” those who leave.
Jordan has Diversity in his bio but to be honest I think he's also pretty much left the group. I don't see him doing another tour with his boxing/other work and he doesn’t do the dance classes.

I think KISS were mental to let them both go with the amount of listeners and buzz they generated online.
You don't just keep on two presenters for five and a half years if they're not bringing in money.

Who is now presenting the show that Jordan and perri did? Perhaps that was part of it? It may also have been lower listening numbers or they just wanted to change things if the station felt it had got a bit stagnant. I prefer long standing presenters as they are more natural but I think all stations seem to prefer regular change.

In this video, Jordan says they stepped away due to commitments.. but I don't really buy that to be honest. He says it was too much to handle with tour, rehearsals, and tv appearances and that they never expected to keep going this long.
Five and a half years they committed to waking up early, even when they had various tours over the years and the panto all over the country and in Ireland.
If commitments were the reason, I imagine they would've probably quit within the first two or three years. Especially with the arrival of Jordan’s third child. But they kept going.
The reason I don't buy it is because if you look at the first video on Perri’s YouTube channel, he basically implies that he felt lost that the radio had come to an end and it doesn't seem like it was his decision.

I think social media and brand deals play a big part of all of their income. I think tours do bring in a lot of money but where there are so many of them, they can't be getting a huge amount.
As I’ve said previously I worked on many of their tours in catering. I think most of the dancers were not paid a great deal and I think that’s why the other brothers who were in the original group left after an argument over money. It’s the Ashley ( and maybe Perri ) show and everyone else is a worker. The mother is in charge together with Ashley and Francesca was in the management team before the split.
Perri’s, sam and Mitch’s, and Theo’s mum were all chaperones on the tours ( due to the kids ages ) but were also required to be in charge of wardrobe.
I see both Ashley and Francesca using their kids to make money online now.
Ashley, Jordan and Perri (and Diversity) are back in pantomime at Southampton again this year; even though the three of them are pictured on the advertising poster, they're billed as Ashley Banjo and Diversity
If you scroll back through Star’s Instagram to 2022, there are several posts/videos of her with Shante.
Then in 2023 she was cut out completely from content with the girls.
Almost certainly they turned against her or she turned against them when Perri broke up with Laura. Shante was one of the very few people of Diversity to keep following Laura after her IG statement about the break up and liking her posts at the time.
Given the fact that she and Jess don’t follow each other indicates they have no interaction or like each other whatsoever. Jess follows everyone else.
I thought it was very cruel during the 2023 tour how she was left in the hotel rooms while the other 3 girls went out.
I think they need to have the word diversity there to generate interest.
I think they are hesitant about putting anyone else in the picture for the advertisement because they don't know what the situation will be with the rest of the members at that time.
Almost certainly Starr is not going to be a part of it because she is working full-time with brands.
Jordan most likely will have his own work that he is doing at the moment and maybe two or three of the other members may have another child by that time or want to spend time with their children.
Nathan will probably continue to teach the studio and so will Georgia.
Jess is full-time in content creation like Starr so can’t see them doing it as they make way more from that.

Yeah, because when you think about it the other members are just pushed to the side even since the beginning when they won BGT, the only members that were popular were Ashley and Perri.
Perri especially before he hit adulthood because of his looks - having the glasses, the big Afro, and the exceptionally small height for his age. Even nearly 20 years later, people still hold onto that image of Perri.
Although there was a little bit, I never saw any sort of hype for Mitch despite the fact that he was the same age as Perri when they won diversity and equally as small and cute.
