Typing this looking through one eye in my sorry state this morning. However, I just couldn’t wait to tell you all.
I was at Taylor Swift last night for a colleagues hen party (she was absolutely out of this world may I add). The couple met via the app Raya (for those who don’t, it’s a paid subscription dating app which you need to be referred to, you cannot just join like Tinder). So at the bar before the show we were all chatting about how they met and how successful that app was with finding love. A couple of the other ladies said they’re on the app and were discussing celebrities they’d come across. And you’ll never guess who came up… Ashley Banjo. I almost choked on my overpriced pinot grigio. I’m thinking surely she’s mistaken? He doesn’t strike me as a dating app kind of man.

Naomi has confirmed Jordan isn't on tour as he has a few commitments that would take him away for 3-4 weeks at a time. He is happy to have built a career around the Banjo and Diversity name but now bails out when it doesn't suit him. I really can't imagine it brings a huge amount of money to the dancers.

I agree but the loss of the radio (which according to here paid £10,000 per month) is a massive loss of earnings so if he has to get money from other work it’s what needs to he done. Princess Nay contributes nothing. Maybe he’s found the balls to say he doesn’t care about the dancing and wants to pursue boxing. I imagine a lot of family pressure to stay in Diversity and dance.

I must admit I see some of what starr wears and cringe sometimes. It looks so painful the way her chest is crammed in and im sure sometimes you can see the outside of her areola.
She gives off mean girl energy, I know it was talked about a couple of tours ago when Shante seemed to be excluded and starr and geo didnt seem to have anything to do with each other.
It coincided with the arrival of jess.
I think diversity has run its course. How do people like warren, sam, afford houses for their families. Do they have other jobs? How does that work with tour? Id love to have the inside scoop.

If you scroll back through Star’s Instagram to 2022, there are several posts/videos of her with Shante.

Then in 2023 she was cut out completely from content with the girls.

Almost certainly they turned against her or she turned against them when Perri broke up with Laura. Shante was one of the very few people of Diversity to keep following Laura after her IG statement about the break up and liking her posts at the time.

Given the fact that she and Jess don’t follow each other indicates they have no interaction or like each other whatsoever. Jess follows everyone else.

I thought it was very cruel during the 2023 tour how she was left in the hotel rooms while the other 3 girls went out.

And to be frank if he and star are together then she is truly silly. If someone can treat their wife of 16 years like this after all they have done then good luck to her. She is young but equally to blame if all this is true.

How is starr to blame? Unless he cheated on fran with her that is. If they got together after the break up then she hasn't done anything wrong, and neither has he really, yes she is younger, but there's nothing to say that this relationship is unhealthy or grooming (at this stage)
I'm not defending Ashley at all but if it is true, maybe it just happened? Lots of relationships start in the workplace, often with age gaps. Doesn't mean they are predatory.

I heard their contract is up end of Jan and apparently radio 1 want them. I can’t imagine they fit with radio 1 but could see them at capital. Rehearsals, the podcast, panto season, touring and then early mornings on the radio with little sleep can’t be doing them favours mentally or physically. They’re getting older now and it must get too much at times especially for Jordan with 3 little ones at home.

Yeah because Laura actually had a personality and looked like she could stand up for herself. These types of men will only go for the simple types. This is why Fran is elite in my mind. Even though she is still trying to be involved with them I bet she challenged Ashley and he crumbled like the weak man he is. Same with Laura, before she was trying to do the influencer thing she was really thoughtful wth her posts and commentary on things. All Jess can do is be a literally back up dancer In Tik Toks.

How on earth would this work? Surely if they are opening studios they’ll need someone at each location permanently? It makes my head hurt thinking about the logistics of it tbh. This is really interesting though.

Has anyone seen that Jess surprised Perri with his sister and Geo tagging along on a trip to NYC for his 30th. Bit odd to bring along who she's closest to rather than someone like Mitch or the other boys?

Who is now presenting the show that Jordan and perri did? Perhaps that was part of it? It may also have been lower listening numbers or they just wanted to change things if the station felt it had got a bit stagnant. I prefer long standing presenters as they are more natural but I think all stations seem to prefer regular change.

In this video, Jordan says they stepped away due to commitments.. but I don't really buy that to be honest. He says it was too much to handle with tour, rehearsals, and tv appearances and that they never expected to keep going this long.

Five and a half years they committed to waking up early, even when they had various tours over the years and the panto all over the country and in Ireland.

If commitments were the reason, I imagine they would've probably quit within the first two or three years. Especially with the arrival of Jordan’s third child. But they kept going.

The reason I don't buy it is because if you look at the first video on Perri’s YouTube channel, he basically implies that he felt lost that the radio had come to an end and it doesn't seem like it was his decision.

I don’t have Snapchat but can imagine. I understand he’s in the public eye but why over share your relationship? What happened to being happy in private? A lot of relationships I’ve came across who are obsessive online are actually toxic behind closed doors.

Starr has “nicer than you think” in her bio and has for years. I think that literally screams what we all suspect. If you have to say something like that, then you need to look at yourself. Sorry to go back to this I’m catching up on the thread. Why isn’t Shan with the other girls at all now? The whole group seems to be interacting less on social, maybe it’s just tour stress. Also I don’t mind Star, I think she’s pretty but it is giving mean girl vibes with the two new girls. I liked the Shan, geo, star and Morgan setup but I do think Morgan was a bit too flirty with Ashley. Saying that I cannot stand men who bate younger women flirting (not saying he was) but I think god are you so in need of validation

It seemed to have gone downhill last year with Shan and the girls. She was never besties with Starr and Geo but definitely was included. Nobody here really knows what happened. But the dancing tiktoks make it clear the other 4 girls are excluding her.

I’m surprised people haven’t commented about it on TikTok, but I know Starr responds to a lot of her comments so no harm in rattling her cage about it, because yes it’s horrible to leave her out.

Considering she’s not following Jess, I think that’s quite something. I’ve never seen Jess and Shante interact at all actually. Also Shante is the only girl still following Laura and I doubt the group are ok with that. I imagine a lot of them hate Laura for her statement about Perri on her stories. I know some of DV still follow Laura, but Geo and Starr unfollowed immediately after she posted that story about Perri treating her like shit.

Maybe Shante just doesn’t like them or vibe with them. She’s 4-5 years younger as well.

Been away because of appendicitis but I think it is so strange that they allow Star to be at the center of so much drama and bitchness and she even gets rewarded by being part of the diversity studio stuff. They obviously read here it is just crazy that none of them care or maybe i care to much becasue if people were gossiping saying i need to be a better person i would listen? or maybe they are a bunch of narcissists like Ashley who knows!
