Surprised he’s back home already, the last story I saw a day or so ago I’m sure he hinted that he’d be out there as long as it took.

It did all seem a little performative imo. But I hope I’m wrong and he actually spends that money wisely.

He is 100% doing this for clout.

Look at how quickly he was on Sky News. The awareness is already happening because of journalists and charities. It’s like white people going to a country in Africa or South East Asia to volunteer for a day or 2.

With his platform (if you would call it that) and his money (which he has plenty of), he needs to be building temporary accommodation, bringing trauma informed therapists and specialists to the area to support the children and families who no doubt will have PTSD, bringing teams of workers to clear the rubble, look for survivors. Some areas have no help at all.

This is an email from my colleague whose family are there:

I am emotionally drained and can't comprehend the sheer scale of the disaster. Everything seems pointless. Watching people's desperations and hearing loved ones being in agony is unbearable.

It is worse than what we are shown on TVs.
I heard from a doctor who is a part of group of voluntary doctors ( who are trying to help others in an organised way) that the city ( the half city is destroyed) where we lost our aunty ( my uncles' wife, such an amazing person) and her mother, smells of rotten corps and there are thousands of dead bodies all over the city. I saw on Sky News bodies lying on the payment and no one claiming them. It is not right. It is not acceptable. It is extremely sad.

Overwhelmed hospitals ( if they are still in use), exhausted staff and thousands of people homeless and in shock, in the freezing cold, without a shelter or food. The government was nowhere for 3 days. So many places have had no help especially villages. They are left to their own faith.

The WHO says they fear deaths amongst people who escaped the earthquake; some will die in the freezing weather conditions and some will catch diseases ( no sanitation, no water, no electricity, no toilet, etc.)

I can't accept that my aunty was under the rabbles for 3 days and waited to be saved. We all know that every minute is/was important.
My uncle and cousin did everything in their power without getting any help from the government, only on the 3rd day she was taken out while her mother was still under the rabbles, but died on the way to the hospital. Too late! Too devastating!
How will my uncle and cousin recover from this? They heard her cry for 3 days and tried everything they could to find machinery and tools in agony, anger and frustration that they could pull them alive.
All in vain.
How can they overcome this ordeal?
Yet there are thousands of people like them.
I can't just understand nor accept what has happened.
literally do anything for a blue tick, more likely to get a blue peter badge though

This says so much and all my doubts were right.
Also why has he not mentioned this on his socials...dodgy as hell

He had to come back for a BBJ comp, he obviously got enough content and didn't want to miss BBJ content.
Looks like his Dad stayed out. I do think his Dad is out there for the right reasons and has closer family and friends over there. I feel like he used his Dad.
I mean £100k to help and he leaves...although now its looks like GFM are investigating this now as its in hold. They came down fast on that!

I don't think Diren is doing this for the right reasons.

But GFM often pause fund raisers that seem to raise a lot quickly. It's mainly to check it is legit going to someone and not say, hackers or the like.

Granted, the radio DJ has massively missed the mark with his comments, but Diren is acting like he'd be willing and able to take him out in a fight if he dares to go into North London in the next 25 years and his way of calling the DJ directly out is a "You sure" DM.

Gritting his teeth like he’s hard. It was ok for dirat to abuse a woman though wasn’t it. Talk about jumping on a band wagon AGAIN

Was there any need for him to respond like this to that guy today in the comments? He clearly thinks it’s impressive as he even shared it to his story. He doesn’t help himself does he

He thinks he’s some kind of world saviour because he went to Turkey for a few days and raised money. Funny how he didn’t mention Syria once though, they need help too.

His rant reminds he of when he sent someone voice notes during the pandemic, i bet he’s a disgusting person to be around behind closed doors. He has anger issues.

Seems Diran can't keep up the good guy act.
What did he do out there that we don't know. He looked like a tourist wandering around taking photos for Insta.
He's raised awareness and a tit load of money. They need that money now, not for schools to be built. That's stages away, they need shelter and food it's freezing.
Mean while Diren is starting fake fights with anyone who calls him out. The DJ was a fool for what he said but how does this help the kids?

For sure raising money for a worthy cause should be applauded & I’m sure what he saw was horrible. I don’t doubt that. But I do have to laugh at him saying that he built his platform from his educational / funny / inspiring videos. Bruv! You built your platform hanging off your mates coattails and then trying to exactly copy his content & programme but with a London gangsta leader instead of a posh private school leader 😂 come on now.

The carry on out of him today takes away from any good he has done in the last week in my eyes. He needs to learn to control his reactions and not make a fool of himself

Id like to see how much HE HIMSELF donates. Because a flight to turkey isn't donating and going around filming isn't getting your hands dirty. He basically tagged along with his dad so he could film content. He should definitely be donating a decent amount instead of just using other people's donations for rep. We all know how much he 'earns'. And great, he's managed to get his followers to donate and it's raised a decent amount. But he hasn't raised this 100k. His followers have.

He's started spending the 100k, half a dozen cheapo balls and some frisbees. Made sure is was all recorded for the gram. The hard man lives in cookoo land.

The guy is an idiot, not very bright and isn’t going to scare people into staying out of North London. No doubt he is doing this for personal gain.

He's obviously reading here. He did a story saying it's someone spending the cash he gave when across there ...

Bit weird how she gave the notes one by one

It was very staged. Yeah he's reading this or being told otherwise why do a story hours later
