So please help me here, I’m not fully aware of the full picture, this is what I understand: After hitting a financial/work blip and having to go back to the gym floor to earn his living like a normal person, suddenly a natural disaster hits and he managed raised 100k+, then:
1. Paid blue tick
2. New app
3. New car (possibly not leased this time)
4. He’s paying for PTs from actual qualified people.
Does he detail any plans? Ideas or evidence of donating to Red Cross, Red Crescent, DEC, Doctors Without Borders etc?
Honestly, this guy would probably rob kids in cancer ward if he could get away with it, yet some people are naive enough to think “he’s not that bad”. In my experience, if you raise or give money in a disaster situation, it needs to be used ASAP. Noble ideas or long term projects (or personal vanity projects) like building a school, can be done later and on separate fund raisers. Also, for me, charity and empathy should not be exclusive to those who share your ethnicity/religion. When you have a platform, if would do no harm to raise awareness for similar things happening in other countries too. It’s a slippery slope when you only support those who look like you or share your religion or ethnicity.
I guess you absolute have to credit him, despite being completely thick and charmless, he’s managed to make a living hoodwinking gullible people or maybe he isn’t that thick, just a cunning, calculating and nasty piece of work?
