Im a long time member of digital spy (17 years) same name on there (Justmadeit) and am currently coming to the end of a 4 week ban. What did I do wrong? I posted a YouTube link to a New Zealand doctor, Dr Sam Bailey who was discussing pcr testing accuracy regarding covid 19, and I'd previously posted another video titled 10 facts about covid which was pointed out contained incorrect data, fair enough. However, these weren't extreme David icke/Alex Jones type fear mongering links, merely different opinions on data and lockdowns etc, I mean heck, even government advisors get things wrong....anyway I assume I got reported by a member hence the 4 week ban. Its heretical to post anything that's not on the BBC or Sky news it seems, however reasonable you may think it is.
I don't remember the moderation being as strict years ago on there.
Anyway, i'm hoping to be back on there on Thursday when the ban should he lifted, though I must proceed with caution!I mainly go on the General discussion board or occasionally in Advice, Radio, plus computer/phone board for queries. I have gone through periods in the past of not logging in for over a year at a time and other times going on there a lot.

Howdy. A question, I'm on my phone, is there a way of jumping to the last post on here as when I click on this thread about digital spy it takes me to page 1 and it would take me ages to keep clicking to the last page
I've just checked by coming on here on my phone and if you scroll down far enough, the double-arrow tab to the right takes you to the last page.
EDIT: I hope you've seen this edited post, as at first I put you had to just keep scrolling down - but then found I was wrong.
That’s strange, normally (on my phone/laptop) after I’ve posted on a thread it gets added to my watch list and automatically takes me to my last read post. Hopefully it’s sorted now?
And I also recognise your previous post, not from DS but I randomly looked at reviews for it on a certain review website earlier and saw it there

I was just being nosy lol. And yeah, a lot of people on this thread have posted similar gripes around the wrong think. It never used to be that bad, I just can’t understand why they’ve wanted to go in this new direction, they must be haemorrhaging on their member count the way they keep banning people for not agreeing with them.
Well it certainly stiffles conversation/debate, knowing you may get banned or warned for an opinion that's not deemed reasonable or credible by the mods.
I'm surprised that she's been there less than a year yet posts so often and seems to have influence on decisions.

Former DS-er here (got perma-banned for having a different opinion in the Politics forum)…. My advice is to not bother logging back in. I just lurk over there now….
They like banning on there thats for sure!
On the threads home page if you see an eye symbol tap on that it should take you to where you left off.

Another DS member here... After reading one too many of Tanya's epic posts I felt like I needed a change of scenery! I stumbled across Tattle a few days ago then saw this thread so thought I'd stay! I'm probably the only one who hasn't had a ban from DS but I'm not an argumentative poster, I like to just offer the occasional anecdote. I still post in soaps sometimes (under a different username) and occasionally GD. I hadn't really noticed how toxic DS had become until I read this thread and thought "actually... Yes!" It's not as bad as Mumsnet though, I'm still traumatised after venturing briefly in there!

I've been comparing discussion of Tom Moore on here and Digital Spy. The consensus on here is a minority jumped on for 'trolling' on DS.
I deliberately stayed out of the Tom Moore stuff over there. I knew I wouldn't be able to keep my big mouth shut.
I'm wondering now if I've been permanently banned...I got a 4 week ban on January the 4th around 5 pm. I thought by now I could login. Tried today and it said ' you don't have permission' I then emailed forum support and got an automatic message sent back that didnt make anything clearer.
Admittedly I did try and set up a new account shortly after the ban started which was declined, forum support replied and said my IP/email address was associated with another account. All being said I've not had an email from them saying I'm permanently banned?.
I've set up a new email address with yahoo mail and will email the forum support later in asda using their WiFi and hopefully it will sent and be read and I can log in to my account.
Does anyone know any other way of contacting them other than forums digital spy.co.uk ?
