Hi everyone. I joined DS about fourteen years ago and have to agree with comments in this thread about certain posters who don't think others should have an opinion that differs from their own. The Politics forum is the worst, it's horrendous and Support just let it go. I've been warned on there so many times for the most trivial posts, mainly for having an opinion. It's not been the same since SULLA was banned as his little quips were hilarious and he never let the argumentative idiots get to him.

I'm currently banned for daring to include my own opinion but I can't understand why? Anyway, I stumbled across you all in here, and I think I'm going to enjoy myself.

I haven’t been on DS for years, I do remember a mammoth John James and Josie thread where their mega fans would fawn over them! But then seemed to just become really good friends themselves which was quite sweet, I hope they’re all still friends now.

Welcome to Tattle its much better here than on DS. I was a member there for many years but also fell foul of the cancel crowd and got sick of the cliques. You're not allowed to post any negative comments on that site these days or anything remotely controversial. I got fed up of being attacked if I held a negative opinion. At least you can vent about something here.

Endured 4 years of that forum, finally called it quits after a crazy Joe Sugg fan went after me for wanting Dianne to dance with Jamie Laing. Decided to send the SCD forum a few pro Gemma Collins troll posts (who I can't stand BTW) as a goodbye before I got my account taken down.

90% of my time was on the SCD sub forum, what a nightmare. You have tons of crazies who go after anyone with an opposite opinion, there are the dance experts who believe that the show is terrible and not a legit representation of ballroom, the homophobes who pop up in the same-sex couple threads and some who are just genuine trolls for no reason.

There were a few specific users that really got on my nerve there. I have actually tried to re-register again to participate in the games forum for Strictly (this time avoiding the main discussion part) but despite many attempts, they aren't allowing me back even though I didn't get banned.

Never even frequented places like Politics or General Discussion thankfully...

I do have to wonder about who these people are and what sort of quality of life do they have to be wasting so much time being a Debbie Downer.

I mainly used to post on DS in the soaps forum but I found that to be increasingly cliquey.

Some people on there take everything so seriously. I used to champion the villains as I see them as good entertainment then people would have a go at me as if it was real life! Asking how I could support a despicable character. My view is that soaps would be very dull without the bad guys but very few seemed able to grasp this point and would continue to moralise.

It was so boring that I've decided not to go back now.

Hello fellow DS'ers, I am The Prumeister. Apologies in advance for anyone I have pissed off/upset/'spatted' with. I have been a member since 2004 and in the early days it was a bleeping scream, then DSU was created and I had massive fall outs with all of them (can't believe it's still going tbh) and now it's just mediocre, butt clenching drivel on the whole (DS that is). I agree with the general consensus on Whedonite - no woman can ever be criticised. Veri is like Rumpole of the bleeping Bailey and I remember a couple of jokers - AOTB and ChipDouglas82 who rode in on their white knight chargers sticking up for big titted 'stunners' like Danielle Lloyd et al. I still post on there but in a very half arsed way.

I hadn’t realised Sulla had been banned.

I was banned a few weeks ago for sticking up for JK Rowling, didn’t say anything especially offensive. Just that I agree with her views.

Oh Veri is a bleep. A misogynistic weirdo who thinks all women are jealous of each other. In fact there is so much misogyny on DS. Dundee boy is another one, and Mactowin who loves to post about how all women hate other women he deems to be attractive, and is astonishingly rude. One memorable incident involved him in the Strictly forum saying that beautiful women always get voted off before their time because the ‘saggy old women’ who watch hate them, then Abi Clancy won and he rather conveniently disappeared. He must have an RSI in his finger from all the reporting he does, because when you pull him up on his behaviour you always receive a warning. twit.

I crossed swords with Whedonite many times, I bet I was banned because of her, however she got a temp ban a while back along with 9 other people.

Do you remember Sloopy? She had an immense post count but all she ever said was rephrasing what the last post said, so, for example, I would say 'Victoria Beckham is so materalistic' and she would reply with 'The Beckhams, especially Victoria, only care about money.' She'd do it to everyone and her posts always came hours after the original ones so it's like she literally had nothing original to say. Haven't seen her for a while. & Stewing - hated Kylie with a passion but I quite liked her.

I found this place thanks to DS and I don't post anymore because there's too many arguments, quick bannings over nothing and so much repetitiveness, which is a shame as I joined way back in 2004 and was a regular in the Soaps and mainly BB forum, where I actually once got banned during a heated discussion over Gerry BB8 because I dared to say you'd have to have half a brain to believe something (can't remember what it was), so clearly someone with half a brain got offended and I was banned for a week or so.

Back in the day when BB forums were tit hot popular and busy, you could write a sentence with six words in it and Veri would break it down into about ten quotes and dissect it. It was tiresome. I eventually blocked. For some reason I thought Veri was a woman though.

What I like about this forum is that you can voice your opinions without being relentlessly attacked as we are not allowed to moderate each other on here. That way you can have a discussion and respectfully disagree but you can't just attack other posters with endless crap like 'prove it' and 'you are a hater'.

I also like that you can swear as much as you want on here
