They emailed me about 8.20 this evening - does it make a difference time wise as to which mod is on shift ?

I dunno which thread you all read on DS. It looks suspiciously like the LBC General Chit-Chat thread. Bangla and his friends try to rule the roost, with their snarky remarks. Any presenter they don't like has a childish made-up name.

Is there an LBC discussion over here that I may join? (I come in peace!).

I used to post/mainly lurk on DS years and years ago (different username).

Does anyone remember Crazy Chris? He seems to pop up in my memory for some reason. There was also an (Irish I think) girl who was one of the first to get 100k posts?? Apparently she was worked in admin but was doing more than a post a minute in stupid chat threads?

I also used to visit diabolik.tv (sp) if anyone remembers that?
Also - the time DS used to charge people £5 if they wanted to sign up using a gmail account

Hello you! You were always one of my favourites! I haven't posted on DS in years! Back in the days when Crazychris and Koantemplation used to troll the fuck out of the place. I was never a prolific poster. Spent most of the time lurking.

I have to stress the ‘if’ though. She seems to have some strange hold over the mods. I hope to god she isn’t one but I fear she might well be...

Obviously I don't know whether she's a mod or not but there's certainly something going on there. I think she's just staying aways because of what happened on Sunday night.

Stewing was a woman and claimed to have terminal cancer at one point so possibly dead (if they were being genuine of course).

There’s another very prominent member who causes trouble, rants if she doesn’t like your post, bleats to the mods and next thing you know, a warning or ban appears.
We all know who she is- if not, perhaps if I say narcissistic, fantasist, sordid sexploits, you will know who I mean. I think this poster was the ringleader, responsible for the bans.

I don’t know who she is? Mind you, I rarely even log in there now so maybe it’s someone who’s come a long recently.

Yes, I think so. I'm sure she would say she felt attacked. Again, just my opinion I don't know any more than anyone else.

I was just being nosy lol. And yeah, a lot of people on this thread have posted similar gripes around the wrong think. It never used to be that bad, I just can’t understand why they’ve wanted to go in this new direction, they must be haemorrhaging on their member count the way they keep banning people for not agreeing with them.

Well it certainly stiffles conversation/debate, knowing you may get banned or warned for an opinion that's not deemed reasonable or credible by the mods.

SierraMist has posted that cases would never go below 30,000, then 20,000 then decided to say 50/50 it will go below 9,000 in four weeks time, then last week was saying "Zoe says cases are rising". Wrong every time. Also the laughable thing about SierraMist is the Zoe App only is right when it agrees with Sierra so if you read his posts one day it will be "Zoe app says this it agrees with me cases are plateauing and maybe rising" next day "well I haven't agreed with the Zoe app for a while". Sierra must be livid cases are going down as it means he can no longer post endless charts and graphs and no-it-all posts about how bad things are.

Oh dear the Tom Moore threads has descended into insult about him and his family and people complaining their tv entertainment was ruined y his funeral.

Nearly as long as me, I joined in December 2003, my time came to an end recently.

I was on DS for a few years but wasn't a prolific poster which is an excuse for some of the usual suspects on DS to have a go for some unfathomable reason. I was warned for disagreeing with a well known poster who was being very insulting to "gammons" and thought she was hilarious until I insulted her and she threw her toys out of the pram. I've been having a look at some posts on the cesspit that is the Politics forum and was following a poster who had a different viewpoint to the majority and I knew that she'd be gone soon. There was the usual pile-on of the school bullies and sure enough, this morning, she's banned. It's as clear as the nose on your face what's going on in the echo chamber, but I can't understand why any posters would only want agreement and back pats on a discussion forum. They're a set of sad gits.

He's killed the LBC thread and his interactions on the TalkRadio thread are only there to cause trouble. The gang are out to get Martin and Crawley Cutie that's for sure. Their interactions with them are so rude and pathetic.

I've just got a permanent ban after being a member for nearly 15 years after a brief exchange with the charming BanglaRoad on the TalkRADIO thread - apparently it's trolling, being unconstructive and derailing a thread to point out that people have different opinions and you can only make an informed one yourself by hearing different points of views. That apparently is a ban worthy offence while telling someone to fuck off because you don't agree with them is perfectly acceptable. I think the only way to not get banned is to throw 'gammon', 'they know what they voted for' and 'all Brexiters and Tories are scum' into every post and you're fine.

Samthefootball gets everywhere. I think he's been banned from pretty much every forum, including Mumsnet where he turned up calling the moderators a bunch of cunts and whining about how he can't get a job, drive a car or get a girlfriend, whereas his stepbrother can. I think he has deep seated issues which will never be resolved unless he takes proactive steps to address them in real life.

There's someone who posted a similar story on DS the other day but his name wasn't Sam - I will try and find it. He aws moaning how he couldn't drive, get a decent job and yet his brother could and his mum would help his brother but wouldn't help him.

I have an account over there as I used to enjoy the soaps forum but omg in the last year or so it is gone RIDICULOUS fake award ceremonies for the posters with awards such as “sexiest poster” You are either completely ignored or attacked if you are not in the clique and a few of the men on it are super creepy the way they talk about other male characters, on the Hollyoaks thread especially
