I just don't have any interest in DS these days. It's slow moving and dull as duck. I don't think it's going to be long before the forum part of DS closes.

It used to be such a good forum back in the day. The BB forum was excellent, it used to get heated at times but it became a hub for Big Brother fans. I did use the Strictly forum until the last series, but I noticed it was much quieter than it had been in previous years.

The BB forum drew me in, I LOVED BB. I really enjoyed DS, it was my go to forum on days off from work. Not now though, it's lost the plot.

The Johnny Depp court case thread is appalling. 3 Depp fans basically obsessively repeating that he is an innocent brought down by a manipulative witch. A couple of people tried to say that they were both as bad as each other but were shouted down.

Yes JD used to be a pretty boy, and Heard does not come over well, but he clearly has a lot of problems that the fangirls just refuse to acknowledge.

Since you mentioned that part of the forum, anyone on here remember Andy_Smith1? Never gave a single opinion of his own but always came to a thread to berate anyone and basically end any conversation where people gave opinions he didn't like. Thankfully finally got the boot in Dec 2019. Also followed me to Twitter but blocked him and he was eventually suspended.

A fair few others on the Strictly forum who I'd rather not interact with in future.

I love the Harry and Meghan thread on here, it's hilarious. Some great posters contribute to the banter.

Another DS user here.

I'm quite amazed I've never been banned - only been warned going against the Corona thread mafia.

The site has definitely changed over the years. It's just basically a battleground out there now. I've had runs in with all the usual antagonists (Tanya, JJ, Walter, Whedonite)

Luckily I've mastered posting just enough to hit back and not get banned.


Will check this site out as I've read through the thread and gets lots of positive reviews.

5. Mentioning anything positive about the UK.

The clique which run the thread exited decent poster after decent poster and must have sore fingers from all the pressing of the report button.
By contrast one poster trolled pretty much every post I made often in a nasty fashion but nothing was done.
Another kept inferring that Nick Ferrari hung around men's toilets but is still there.
Another seems unable to post without scatological and toilet references.
I see there have already been plenty of references to Banglaroad who seems to have nothing else to do.

The shame is that it was an active and mostly friendly forum whereas now it is a quiet echo chamber.

BanglaTurd, Venetian & Tony Mahoney got a lot of folk banned in that lbc radio thread.
Just click on their profile & note the amount of 'discussions' they have made, i.e. reporting/running to the mods to get folk binned, and actual 'threads' they've started & subtract the difference.
Tony hasn't been seen in about a year but the other 2 think that thread belongs to them now.

BanglaTurd! Love it. Tony Mahoney was an Olympic level baiter and WUM. He vanished shortly after I got my permaban. Perhaps he figured 'job done'. 😅

Hi another ex-member of DS thrown off many years ago then tried the return a few times which was successful for a while but I made the mistake of venturing into politics once too often and of course fell foul of the militant posters with the alert scheme.

The LBC thread has been ruined by Banglaturd a man who spends his whole life listening to presenters he can't stand on a station he can't stand just to be offended and be able to post it on a forum.

The Coronavirus thread just keep giving, you have Occy from whatever planet he appeared from winding everyone up, SierraMist the know-it-all who disappears for days when his stats are proven to be wrong, now CRM is in their trying to make it political by trying to start a row then runs to the mods claiming he is being picked on.

I must admit I have not viewed politics for a while so not sure if it has calmed down in recent months since Brexit and Starmer.

Not seen James2001 for a while has he invaded another thread, he actually had calmed down a lot when he posted in the Covid thread but then did a strop and walked out.

Tony suddenly stopped posting, quite strange really, they now have their sights on the likes of Martin & CC imo.
Bangla is a nasty piece of work :oops:

Soon there will be no one posting in that thread. Only about half a dozen different names post now it seems to me.

I see James2001 has decamped back to the brexit thread, bemoaning the fact he can't go furry hunting in Europe anymore no doubt. Crying into his animal suit all day comforting himself on old episode of Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Poor old James such a life to have.
