I got a warning once. Very rarely post, but I used to follow the Ian Lee/Talk Radio thread. It had been quiet for a while, I asked where his bum chum, best fan forever was. My post was deleted and I was warned for baiting. Said 'bum chum' created a new profile and continued to post love posts for his idol. Pretty easy to find him on Twitter too, always there bum licking....lol

Yep, that's the problem, you can't express your opinion without thinking really hard about it and a couple of words can cost you dearly.
You will find here on Tattle many subjects that would be not allowed on DS, as long as you keep within the guidelines here you will be
okay.

I did begin to think the problem was with me but having read a lot of reviews about DS and now coming on here, there's too many people saying the same thing. The general consensus on DS by the 'in crowd' is that whoever gets banned or gets a warning has deserved it so the problems there are never going to be resolved.

CornishPiskie got banned a year or so ago. I remember I was the prey for the day in the Politics Forum a couple of years ago (and many times since!) and had the whole pack on me. Although we didn't share the same views on anything, she messaged me to say don't let them upset me and just ignore them and if I needed a rant, just to private message her which I thought was nice of her as she didn't have to do that so I was sorry to see she'd gone.

Anne666 I haven't seen for a long time - she was one of the first posters I remember from the BB days.

Any idea why CornishPiskie got banned?

I wouldn't be surprised if Anne666 has passed on as well.

You are right about SierraMist, they claimed also to be a lawyer or something to do with the judiciary? Who knows what the truth is, seems to be an arrogant poster anyway. Myst spend hours researching about covid stats etc, and writes epically long posts.

Sad to say she passed away on the 5th October, I'm embarrassed that I've only just found this out, she was a friend on FB.
All that was said that she died suddenly.

NO! I posted a lot with fredster and we had great fun taking the piss, especially on the katie price threads. Well, for as long as they lasted before the snowflake katie fannies hammered the report button and got them locked.
I think I still have screen grabs of the crazy pricey fans going nuts and I bet fredster is in those taking the piss.
I'm so so sorry fredster has left us. I'll say a prayer for her. R.I.P Fredster.

To be fair, I do think the bitching about specific (named) forum members is a bit out of order - they’re not influencers/famous people, they’re just people who have opinions on a different forum. But that’s just my opinion.

I do in general prefer Tattle to DS now, I rarely post over there any more.

That seems to be the obvious thing but does it come up on someone's profile how many times they've done it - I don't remember seeing anything like that and I only every reported 2 posts when I was on there, neither of which were directed at me but unnecessarily nasty towards other posters so I was never that au fait with it.

I did... What a horrible judgemental bunch of people! I didn't last long! Though there were some very funny long running threads that we clearly a wind up, Alphabet Street and the Puddle Saga that ended up being started by the same poster under different names. People got so invested in them!

I was just intrigued because I’d noticed there hadn’t seem to be any bannings on DS for a while and then saw your post about being a long time poster who was banned, and someone else has since replied saying they were banned too. I looked at the profile of the person who I suspect is a mod and they were last active today (prior to that, they were last active in October which made sense as to why the ban hammer had stopped hammering down so hard the last few months)
But the profile says they were last seen at 08:16 so the timing is just over 12 hours off (unless it takes 12 hours from the time of the ban to the time you get an email about it)

I once had a 24 hour ban. The email definitely came after more than 12 hours. I remember at the time being really shocked by the ban. I got a ban for rolling my eyes I don't know if they still ban for this. So many DS users had been banned for the same thing. There was so much ganging up and bullying on users and they got never banned? There always seemed like one opinion was allowed. If your opinion wasn't what they had then you had them all go on attack. I don't go on there anymore.
Big Brother forum use to have a lot of arguments.

I also remember the 'Connie' poster.

She took no advice whatsoever, and eventually the other posters got fed up with her.

Perhaps she was a fake poster. The clue may havb been in her name: 'Connie' - because she conned you she was genuine?
