Tanya still being allowed to run riot on the forums with absolutely nobody in authority willing to say enough is enough.

What on earth is going on? I've never seen anything like it, on or offline.

She is the main reason I’ve drifted over here tbh.

My encounters with her have been memorable to say the least (her first notable meltdown mentioned earlier in this thread is I think partly my doing) and the amount of awful things she’s spouted with no such consequences has made me question DS as a whole.

Of course there are (many) other users who have made it go that way but my god she is a rotten person through and through...

Someone mentioned Seacam earlier - there was a rumour that he was the pilot when Emiliano Sala died in the plane crash. Bit far fetched but anything is possible.

Ridiculous but unsurprising. The mods always ban the wrong people.

I see Sport1 and Scottie2121 are still active, how they escaped a ban is beyond me, even after they stalked me for months and DS did fuck all about it.

Has anyone found that there are many posters on DS who, if they disagree with you, they can never agree to disagree or just politely drop it they will run you into the ground with exhaustion trying to get you to admit you are wrong, or just try to make you in some way the villain of the conversation no matter how petty the subject matter is?

Seeing this happen over and over reminds me why I stopped posting on there and why I am enjoying Tattle so much more. People don't seem to do that here in my experience.

Is that the same member who always posts in the Advice forum about anti social behaviour? He lives with his mum and brother and the brother is a nightmare apparently, who makes his life hell. He gets loads of advice and completely ignores it, just starts another thread up again, saying the same thing?

I would personally add Lucy Van Pelt to this list.

She’s dreadful from what I’ve experienced in General Discussion. Anyone who dares to disagree with her now gets hurled abuse in return. She questions anyone with low post counts, claiming they must be trolls (not just a new user obviously) and has tried to start pile-ons against certain users because she thinks her opinions are fact.

She often like to make a thread about herself these days and has become quite the irritant now.

I can’t stand her...

She is a horrid person, I recently had an altercation with her in showbiz because I found her obsessive hatred towards a famous person strange. I think it was her who reported me and got me banned so I'm really hoping karma eventually slaps her in the face.

I haven't even looked at DS for probably nearly a year but lurked and occasionally posted for years. I have searched this whole thread and can't believe no one has mentioned Waldo_uk ! She was a very strange one! (I think she got banned around the time I stopped bothering to read)

There was also another poster that used to post constantly in the food and drink thread, she treated the 'what did you eat today' thread as her personal blog and would list everything, but she ate insane amounts of food, and such weird combinations and she would also go shopping daily, from the yellow sticker shelf, and list the entire shop with all the prices. I think her name was Choccy Carole or something to that effect. Did anyone else come across her? She went from 100mph posting to zero, I half wondered if she died

I remember Waldo. She was prolific on the thread about annoying customers in shops. She found fault with everything as did others on that thread, the other main protagonist on that thread was Dee123. They were little Hitlers.

The thing I like about Tattle is that you can have a disagreement with someone, but then it’s forgotten and you move on. Over there people will stalk you all over the bloody forum just to point score or get you back in some way.

I've been the victim of stalkers on DS, they often "remind" me of previous comments, at least 5 posters I could mention.

As former member I still sometimes do a drive-by and lurk at some of those threads, especially in the Politics forum. And OMG its like a piranha feeding frenzy if you even dare post a comment that goes against the consensus!

They don't bother me over there. But some people could have nasty palpitations if they don't arrive wearing body armour and take strong anti depressants.

Sadly there's a few like that who think they own the place. If you ever wanted to see a case of the lunatics taking over the asylum, the Politics forum would be a good place to start.

I love the Harry and Meghan thread on here, it's hilarious. Some great posters contribute to the banter.

I am often baffled by the following some users have on DS. Some are treated in a god like way in which the whole thread must bow down to them and their opinion etc.

It often gets my goat when you post a nice well thought out comment in a thread and get no response, then one of ‘the chosen’ either repeats you word for word or does a ‘yeah’/‘agree’ type of comment a few posts later and gets to tons of likes for it.

It really emphasises the cliquey nature of DS at times.

One of these users I can’t stand (and I may be very unpopular here) is Jason. He seems to turn every thread possible into one about him and his lack of success with the ladies - even when it’s far removed from the topic at hand - and he isn’t that friendly with lesser users.

He really had a pop at me once for daring to disagree with him in the music forum. If he treats all women like that, it’s no wonder the ladies may not like him!

I have been a irregular poster on DS for many years. Sometimes dont log in for months at a time to be honest.

I might go back on and call all the ones I dont like Twats though just for fun because I dont really intend ever going back on again. And some of them deserve it

The ratio of nutters to 'normal' posters is scary high on there.

I prefer here the mods are really decent I think to be fair and Tattle doesn't have the same cliques as DS (there are some I suppose but on the whole they are all really accepting of new posters).
