Politics is what destroyed the LBC Chit Chat thread. Some political chat was inevitable because of the way the station is but it all went south quite quickly and there would be pages and pages of political stuff.There still is. I'm sure some of the political animals will migrate into there.


As for AV forums closing a DS thread, I actually think it's a good idea to have one. I think this one serves a purpose in that we all have a witch and vent our spleens in here and then go about the rest of the forum as normal.

Plus many of us are like a coiled spring.

We've suffered from years of abuse by many of these individuals mentioned, for which we've not been able to effectively fight back, in fear of getting banned.

Now those springs are becoming uncoiled.

Pardon the language but no sh*ts are given if they happen to stumble upon what has been written here.

It serves them right.

Woke is a positive. Right wingers use it as a pejorative term because they have dark hearts that don’t like blacks, gays and women. Therefore they think woke is a bad thing and not a positive trait.

But there's a prime example of everything that is wrong with that thread. Discussion about Az vaccine in Italy. Martin makes an obvious joke/flippant remark about 'You can't trust those Europeans' so what does BanglaRoad reply ? 'Lovely xenophobic comment' . I wonder who will report Martin first?

I also see Staker has popped in there. i4u and Bunions also enjoying themselves. i4u has taken to ripping Steve Allen part these days.

These people are just so angry all the time!! It must be exhausting.

It's hilarious how upset they're getting over a new news channel. Just because it leans right doesn't mean it's going to be some extreme nazi channel that brainwashes people into hating minorities. The mentality of some left wingers these days is worrying, they literally believe any opinion but their own is dangerous and needs to be shut down. They're the ones who have been brainwashed.

I did post in that thread but I was shocked by how anti-science and pro doom-and-gloom it was. There were a few posters who were just very much against any kind of hope at all. One ‘TTT’ or something, insisted that we would never get any vaccines ever, because of Brexit. Also, the ass-kissing of MarelleK was awful. I mean, she said she was against taking a vaccine, as a nurse.
Then she was first in the queue.

Thank you! This really annoyed me too, I thought I was just evil though.

She was relentlessly “woker than thou” and I say that as one of the posters who would probably be put in the woke category. But I was rarely woke enough for her.

She had a go at me a few times, mainly over Jesy from Little Mix, because I said that I didn't think it was particularly helpful of herto put on a faceful of makeup. spend ages on her hair, then post a pic of herself at something like 3pm saying 'woke up like this'. I was accused of victim blaming, when I was just trying to point out that it wasn't great for her young fans self esteem who probably don't wake up looking like that!

Ive encountered her another thread and she is awful. Glad that she was called out for that. I can see a few more threads being closed if they carry on like that.

As well as a who can we get sacked on LBC next thread, trying hard to get Ferarri the boot and also Majid. Politic is most definitely the main stay of that thread, not much to do with LBC in general.

He's mastered the art of winding them up without transgressing the sacred T&Cs, something I never quite managed. In more tolerant times it didn't matter but these days, with every post they perceive to be 'off-message' being scrutinised for offence, it's a dangerous game. Their total lack of humour makes it worse. With Snowy and Ven posting less and less, Deisegal is the only 'gal' left standing.
