So I am saying that yes certain immigrants should return home in circumstances were they don’t qualify for leave to remain. And I don’t view that as horrible. I view it as a fair and functioning borders and immigration system.

It seems alot easier to get rid of them on here than it did on DS. In fact some of them seemed immune to banning regardless of what they said.

The last time I checked, it looked like some rot was starting to appear.

Hello all, yet another recipient of the completely arbitrary DS ban hammer here. Can I begin by saying thank you to Plymouthbloke1974 for referring to James2001 as a 'gold-plated window licker', that literally made me LOL!

I've been a member of AV for a number of years, it's a good, well-run forum. Nothing like DS.
Originally joined to find out about some tech I was buying for the house, there's some good knowledge on AV for that sort of stuff. I've been an infrequent visitor since then though, maybe need to dig out my log-in details again 😈

Over a year ago now, I'd say. Fell foul of the usual suspects - Ads, Bangla, Agrippa etc. Should've known better than to respond their bull with the truth - it's like Kryptonite to them.

Hell yeah I know what the reaction would have been. But there is not anything in there that is remotely controversial. It’s a fair and fully functioning immigration system which rewards compliance and punishes deliberate deception.

It really is no great loss to get kicked from DS - especially now.

There are much better alternatives available - such as here.

They seem to have been very welcoming to everyone over there and the mods and forum owner have been helpful and friendly although I have to say, I'm pleased some of their new members are signing up there rather than here ;)
