It's becuase opinions around covid 19 HAVE to conform to what SAGE, Parliament and their puppets in the media are telling us what to think and believe. Any doctors, scientists and experts have been ignored, silenced or lost their jobs for having different opinions and whatever you do, don't say you're an anti-masker/vaxxer otherwise you get interrogated about your reasons and get branded as selfish and a conspiracy theorist.
This 'new normal' we're all supposed to conform to 'for our safety and to protect the NHS' (They can make me take the vaciine and wear as mask but they can't stop me from being anti-mask/vax) and this new normal's based on fear mongering mindless conformity, blackmail, guilt tripping, mass hysteria and mass paranoia.

They did a job that was long overdue, they shut down the nasty morons who'd taken over the site, a great move for DS losing that vile pack but not good news for the sites that they are now invading such as AV and to a lesser degree here...we bite back here and the mods here ain't a bunch of woke clones who will allow the rot to spread here like it did on DS.

However, on DS you HAVE to support Labour, you HAVE to support remain, and you HAVE to have to support the WOKE mindset, to the most finest detail.

If doesn't matter if you are a Green, Lib Democrats, SNP, or even a Labour supporter.

If you don't agree with all the listed above you are 'far right'.

Yes I remember GGP and the incident you refer was one of the most bizarre things I saw on DS. GGP was a Marxist. And by that I mean a real actual Marxist and not the catch all insult Hard Righters throw at anyone with Left of centre views. If I remember his opposition to the EU was based on he felt they were an impediment to the institution of large scale nationalisation and a centrally planned economy.

It was literally impossible to get any further left than GGP without falling of the end of the world flat earth style! So I therefore assume if anyone accuses him of being far right that person must be floating in space somewhere between Mars and Jupiter thinking “Effing hell, why is it so dark?”.

Yes I remember GGP and the incident you refer was one of the most bizarre things I saw on DS. GGP was a Marxist. And by that I mean a real actual Marxist and not the catch all insult Hard Righters throw at anyone with Left of centre views. If I remember his opposition to the EU was based on he felt they were an impediment to the institution of large scale nationalisation and a centrally planned economy.

It was literally impossible to get any further left than GGP without falling of the end of the world flat earth style! So I therefore assume if anyone accuses him of being far right that person must be floating in space somewhere between Mars and Jupiter thinking “Effing hell, why is it so dark?”.

Although GGP was another hypocrite.

They were very vocal a few years back, about the anti homeless spikes some private properties in London were installing.

However, they would refuse to say whether they would be happy with homeless kipping in their home doorway.

Everytime I asked whether they would be happy with them kipping in their home doorway, they would change the subject and deflect from answering the question being asked.

Let us be clear. DS Politics is not left leaning, it is uber left leaning.

I've seen moderate lifelong Labour members labeled 'far right' by some of the numpties in the politics section, for not agreeing with the uber left mantra.

What I also laugh at is the numerous posts in the politics section about 'How can Labour win the 2024 election'.

Stop demonising those they don't agree with, would be a good starting point.

How on earth do they think the 'red wall' will be won back, when many of them are happy to continue throwing around the 'traitor', 'gammon', 'racist and 'bigoted' tag lines towards those very people.

The left and especially the far left, kill everything they touch.

If you need anymore clues I could start banging on about how good certain German, Canadian and British creative software houses are, certain games, a certain version of Spartacus and what I think of politicians.

Let's also be clear. Many, although not all the mods on DS are utterly useless and somewhat bias.

When you are a forum mod, you are supposed to act with fairness and impartiality - especially on 'broad church' sites such as DS. However it is clear many do not.

One FM can get a warning (or ban) for something relatively minor, yet someone else can go on a hate filled rant and get absolutely nothing.

Why?

Probably as the mods agree with their POV.

My question is, how these people have been allowed to remain as Mods, when they clearly show bias in their moderation.

I have just registered. I entirely agree with you about the mods on there. They seemed to ban people for trivial things but allowed the vile ones to post with impunity. I am really pleased that they have closed it down and put a stop to what I saw was bullying at times. I stopped posting in the politics thread a couple of years ago because it was impossible to put your point across without them ganging up on you.

It was suspected that some of the mods were posters on DS which wouldnt surprise me in the least. It looks much more civilised on here.
