Thank you. I’ve resisted the urge for a long time, but now seemed an appropriate (and final) opportunity. Obviously now I don’t care whether the DS mods ban me or not.

Notorious PIG = Victoria Sponge :)
Don't blame you, 2 bullies of the highest order.

I doubt it'll actually affect tattle much, all the people from showbiz moved over ages ago and the politics people won't fit in here. Other places can deal with them 😆

There's been on average 500-600 new members a day sign up on tattle over the last few months. Yesterday was pretty quiet
What I like about here is the fact you can talk about anything and anyone, well not certain TikTokers who threaten with police action 😂 but it's a much nicer atmosphere and nobody seems to kick off with each other and bully you for a different opinion. When I first found this place I thought it was somewhere to discuss influencers that I have no interest in then discovered all the strange little threads in Tattles GD which is what DS should've been like.

I avoided those subjects so that will be why I don’t know her. They were two topics I just knew would end up being trainwrecks. Those and the seemingly never ending “Does God Exist?” threads.
Sierra is supposedly a male.

The moderation on d.s could be a bit extreme at times, the covid 19 stuff for example: have a different outlook on it all or disagree with some of the science that the government uses and provide links to other (non conspiracy) type sources and it could land you with a temporary ban and many posts in the thread being removed. I also felt that some would likely hit the report button if you disagreed with them one too many times

I was on digital spy for 17 years until January. Things did seem to become more strict, I noticed what I felt was a cancel culture creeping in

James is a 'furry' who likes dressing in a full-body costume of a giant furry animal?
Yeah, James2001 is a furry. The only reason he supports the EU is because it allowed him unrestricted travel to the European Furry Convention.

I remember he went mental once when somebody took the piss out of his 'Hobby'

Hi, I'm new here.

I'm still on DS. Although I must say I am happy that long overdue changes are now happening on the site.

The Politics forum was an absolute cesspit of over inflated, one sided opinions.

A large number who seem to be shouting the loudest over 'nasty Hearst' closing down the Politics forum, are indeed guilty of helping pushing it to its demise.

However, as those FM's are so far up themselves in their own opinions and beliefs, they'll never admit to this.

Those that claim the Poltics forum wasn't an issue, are part of the problem. When you are part of the problem, you don't see a problem.

Those of us who didn't get involved with the crap on the politics forum, could quite clearly see there was a problem.

To the FMs on DS moaning about posts they have seen about themselves on here.

GET STUFFED!

You are more than happy to dish out the abuse, nastiness, name calling and harassment to others. Although you don't like it when it happens to you, and like to play the victim when it does happen.

If you don't like it happening to you, don't dish it out in the first place!

I will soon be posting my own list of DS 'hall of idiots'.

I honestly don't recall posting even once in Politics everyone seemed as bad as each other so I just avoided it

I left a reply to her, she responded and I decided to leave it at that. No point of dragging it out.
Got to agree with that. You can’t reason with egotists. I made a good natured but I admit very pointed post about HRGuru’s famed 2019 flounce and rebirth, and as predictably as the setting of the sun her reply was I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t understand her infinite subtleties. So like you I’ll leave it like that, with her not being triggered and not caring in the slightest what people think of her.

Let us be clear. DS Politics is not left leaning, it is uber left leaning.

I've seen moderate lifelong Labour members labeled 'far right' by some of the numpties in the politics section, for not agreeing with the uber left mantra.

What I also laugh at is the numerous posts in the politics section about 'How can Labour win the 2024 election'.

Stop demonising those they don't agree with, would be a good starting point.

How on earth do they think the 'red wall' will be won back, when many of them are happy to continue throwing around the 'traitor', 'gammon', 'racist and 'bigoted' tag lines towards those very people.

There's a lot of opinionated people who act all smug and superior on that thread.
You get branded a CT anyway and from what I'm seeing and reading, you're only allowed an opinion if you mindlessly obediently and unquestioning go along with what Parliament and their puppets in the media're saying.

I’ve got to agree with that. Their definition of views seemed to either Corbyn or “far right” with no ground in between, where I think the bulk of the population lie. To liken Boris Johnson to the Nazi’s, which I’ve seen done, was just [] .

To those of us who ever saw the early 80s sitcom The Young Ones there was a character called Rick who called everyone a fascist, and saw himself as The People’s Poet. Well that’s how I see people like CRM. And the point is Rick was supposed to be a grotesque parody.

They've been told by so many including diehard Labour voters but nope the answer is always to scream far right, Nazi etc. I stopped going in the Politics forum. I'm on the fence like most Brits. We're a tolerant society but who I vote for does not define me as a person. I never criticise anyone for their vote. We all get 1 vote to use how we want, that's an inviolate right in a democratic country.
