Penny Crayon has taken root in the Brexit forum. She used to often get overlooked for her nastiness compared to others but every time I see the name i’m reminded. Seriously she is like a broken record. Johnson is incompetent, Johnson is an embarrassment, Johnson destroyed the country, Johnson ate my puppy wth turnips etc blah blah blah ad nauseum. For the love of god at least switch to track 2 once in a while.

It looks like the Brexit forum on AV s about 90% remainer which will give her a veritable wide on. Not surprising I guess because it takes a certain type of obsessive to still be going over the same arguments on a daily basis four years after the vote and three months after the divorce. Even the Lib Freakin’ Dems are moving on.

Like the Pilgrim Fathers they’re going to recreate their theocratic state on AV, the promised land. Just watch. God bless the native AVericans.
Will the AV'ers tolerate the VHS discussion thread, being flooded with Brexit and Corbyn comments?

My goodness just read one comment on AV about why DS might have closed politics. If some of those comments are correct with what some posters said then I am not surprised they decided to shut it down. They will have to be careful on AV as well because i doubt they will put up with it

I see James2001 is snivelling on there that his beloved DS Forum sub-sections had been pulled so fast…. I simply had to reply to him and tell him how it is as we’d locked horns in Politics before one of the woke brigade had me banned in 2018…

To be honest, I don’t care if I’m banned on TVF for saying it either as it’s closing next week anyway.
As I said in a previous post.

Those that were part of the problem, didn't see a problem.

James WAS part of the problem and is too wrapped up in his own opinions and beliefs to ever see, or admit this.

He can cry tears as much as he wants. No one really gives a stuff.

If he (and others like him) weren't such nasty vile people on there, then the removed forums may have still been there now.

Politics became a cespit of libel and anti semitism. The mods for some bizarre reason allowed it but like you say, AV won't so they won't be able to pull that sort of thing on there.

What was said?

A fair few believe that Politics was closed to save money....nothing to do with all the hate and bile they were spouting.
No sirrreee....nothing to do with us that

I noticed she'd gone on her usual rants there but wasn't getting the reaction she's used to, people are disagreeing with her so it'll be interesting to see how long she lasts. As you say, she seemed to slip under the radar but she is just as bad as the usual suspects.

Agrippa is also his usual cheerful self - 'I'd like to congratulate all those posters honest enough to boast about how they were banned from DS. It must be hugely reassuring for those who run the new home you've elected to join. Mind you, at least they'll know that you probably need watching. And witching about other posters is rarely a good look.' Well done Plymouthbloke on your response about super-reporters and trying to get people banned but quite ironic that he accuses you of trying to provoke an argument !
The guy is an absolute tool. He was one of the original antagonists on DS - he just doesn’t seem to like the truth. I just say it as it is and that unfortunately led to my demise on DS as they didn’t like hearing it.

You mean this one, posted about ten minutes ago?

"Maybe the Mods got bored deleting posts about sexual assault involving certain politicians, or how much Pritti Patel could charge as a trafficked sex worker"

Agrippa57 is attempting to be Lord of The Flies on AV

When someone like that is allowed to keep breaking the rules while the moderators just delete any offending posts and pretend it never happened, it tells you everything about what sort of people those moderators are.
Exactly, there is a list of mods most woke disciples and they essentially run the forum, and act as eyes and ears at ground level. The mods then hand out bans to anyone without actually knowing why. Which is why they ignore any evidence that shows they are wrong. I don't think the mods have seen life for 20 odd years, they have spent that time. in their parents back bedroom they just hang around waiting for one to report someone

However DS wouldn't have been allowed to of carried on indefinitely hosting malicious and potentially libelous comments.

If there is talk of cleaning up social media of hate, then DS could not be ignored - as many of the comments are just as bad, if not worse than those seen on social media.

Yes that one. I am so glad I just kept myself mainly to the TV shows and the Games/Pub threads.

To be honest that one is a bit tame.

A post last week by Hisdogspot claimed the new Labour candidate for the Hartlepool by election was a fan of children being murdered by the Saudi king.

Of course these Corbyn supporters don't see a thing wrong with that they posted. Is it any wonder Hearst had to shut half the site?

Plymouthbloke1974.

I see James responded to you with his often recited myth that the Politics forum was a right wing echo chamber, pre 2017. With a post that he saw fit to edit nine times.

I remember it being somewhat more balanced. Never a right wing echo chamber.

Where does James get his BS from?

James2001 is chatting rit.

In 2015 I can remember quite clearly how everyone was expecting Labour to win the election, when I say win I mean enough to go into coaltion with the Lib Dems, it came as a massive shock to them when Cameron actually got a majority. I've never forgot it. Threads will even back this up

I am actually fine with DS at the moment to be honest. It is a much kinder site right now, I do think in some form in the future GD will return when/if this is all blown over. The moderation will just be better I think. I mean if it's true about all of this legal action then why not just ban the posters that were causing the trouble. I think they want people like that to forget about DS for now and in the future it might return in a more chatter way
Yeah, but it's a bit like toxic mould. You can eradicate it but the minute you let your guard down, back it comes.

Absolutely, some of them now joining AV, do believe they've had no hand in getting the forums binned though.
They really are deluded
