Polly Perkins is comparing us to convicts being sent to Australia.

'Oh just read their forum, sounds like it's full of idiots who were banned from DS and for good reason.

They read like disgruntled fugitives, if forums were around when we sent convicts to Australia I think that would be them.'


I have never said anything in here I wouldn't have said to certain DS members 'faces' so I don't care if they read it or not. I couldn't tell them on DS because I'd have got banned. (obviously 😂 )

NOPE

NOT RUNNING THESE FORUMS ANYMORE

Skp20040 gave his usual help , mentioning the founder of DS not knowing about the changes to the forum :D

Expect 200 posts within an hour now with copy and pastes about the founder, and how many posts, bans, forum members have happened on DS ever since.

Then when you ask why they are spamming the forum , the usual covid bullies turn up to bait you into being banned

"For avoidance of doubt, I have not registered with another forum, so I presume anyone claiming to be me will be quickly apparent as an agent provocateur - like or loathe me, I am consistently my own identifiable if capricious self, and I'm completely confident about that."

She could could have left out two words from that drivel, guess which ones LOL So she/he or one of its mod mates are keeping an eye out for him/her over here LOL

Why do people always say this? There are plenty of us who are not banned, we just come here to discuss what is happening over on DS (I only deleted my account today). Yes, you will get some daft comments on here but that's no different from DS or anywhere else really.

I still liked posting on DS for the most part, well ...something was keeping me there anyway, but over the last few years it has become a shadow of it's former self. It's just not as fun as it used to be. There were a handful of posters who got on my wick and some I wouldn't like to meet in "real life", but for the most part I think people were okay there. I think the moderation in the last few years is really what lead to it's decline. Too heavy handed over certain topics and inconsistent. That and with major platforms like Facebook traditional forums are not as big as they once were anyway.

I can see DS closing altogether in the next few years. A shame really, but that's life.

I was actually Hank Schrader over there until the password fiasco. I used to log in via Facebook but couldn't after they ducked up how you log in. I briefly had an account with this user name but lost my rag with walterwhite, I was a little drunk one night and got sick of his constant nit-picking.

maybe the total closure will be announced in THE COMING MONTHS
