I used to feel sorry for him, he was harmless but endlessly baited and trolled. Someone on Sleeping Dogs forum is on there today saying their greatest achievement was getting him banned from DS.
Ah yes, I remember her. She seemed pleasant enough to me.
Thats the one I wa trying to remember when I mentioned Sulla. I can't imagine why he got banned as he really kept his cool against some shocking baiting.
I always thought he was innocuous. I don't remember him ever saying anything untoward.
Personally I did not get his wit but he was harmless
A few others I remember and used to like - Mrs Teapot, Sid 1979, Sofa Judge, Simmons something or other, mathertron, Benny1982 ...I got on well with all of those.
There was one forum I remember from around 10+ years back called JamesStGeorge. Basically had all the open racists from the old BBC Have Your Say boards. There was one particular poster who would go on about black ladies on planes and their "dusky smell". I think Proboards eventually closed it down.
The Money Saving Expert forum used to be quite gammony as well, in particular the Discussion Arms sub-forum. That ending up getting shut down as well.
Also way back when I remember a poster called Cultist or something who did a LOL hilarious Big Brother satire, and another one about I’m a celebrity. Wouldn’t have lasted five minutes today.

She was a bit eccentric, but in a charming way.
Sulla was one of the worst baiters in politics forum. I remember he was quite misogynistic in the Question Time threads
I honestly never got that impression from MSE. Perhaps I never lurked there enough?
I wasnt keen on him , but i would never have actively sought to get him banned, i think i might have been already pissed off about stuff anyway and he was just the poster who happened to be a bit off with me and i had a go at him, before that he hadnt bothered me, so i might well have been sensitive that day and he suffered
i wasnt keen on his odd humour thoughI personally didn't get that impression - I love a dry sense of humour which he had but a lot of people didn't understand it. He was never nasty to anyone and didn't deserve to get banned.
Off topic but how do you ignore threads on here? Whenever I've tried it I can still see the thread.

Indeed. It was genuinely frightening what she was suggesting. I was one of the few who called her out on it at the time.
I've generally not engaged with her apart from that moment. It was just so abhorrent I had to say something.
